Overall, these are a good dog toy. However, I find the sizing to be small. I consider my Australian Shepherd (45lbs) to be a medium dog, and my German Shepherd (75lbs) to be a large dog. This size is medium and seems to be too small for the Aussie. The jumbo size works better for her, but is too small for the GSD. Playology doesn’t make this toy in a size option that I feel is suitable for the GSD. Given the size is not appropriate, I do think the Aussie was able to damage the size medium toy more than intended. The size jumbos are in much better shape though so I’d say the durability is good when the right size is purchased. Lastly, the smell of these is quite strong (and a bit nauseating… at least for a pregnant woman lol). Though, the dogs seemed to love it and the smell subsided substantially after being out of the box for a few days. Read more

well, I am sad to say this - but none of my three dogs are even remotely interested in these toys. They have some sort of smell, and they were interested when I unwrapped them. Tried to give them to them and they were uninterested in taking in their mouths. I put them on the floor hoping maybe they would then play with them, nope they are still laying in the same place a day later. I was expecting more of a meat smell or something the dogs would find attractive - or chicken - as they definitely know when I bring rotisserie chicken in the house, but no interest in all other than the crinkly wrapper. They are good sized, have bright colors, and have some weight to them for maybe 15-20 lb dogs and larger, way too big and heavy for minis like Yorkies and Chihuahuas.
