These garment bags are sturdy and well sewn together. There's a nice grommet at the bottom to help with travel if needed or to fold up with the hanger to save space. The zipper has a nice cover it can slide into to keep it from being accidentally pulled. These hold suits well and can hold several garments. If you're looking for a quality simple garment bag that can pull light duty travel this item should get the job done. For the price these are going to be hard to beat. These garment bags are awesome and high quality for a very reasonable price! I've had three sportcoats jammed in each of my remaining garment bags I've had for years and it's been such a drag trying to sort through each one to see which coats are in them. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I needed a couple of hanging/traveling bags for some jackets. Unable to find any locally (which was weird on its own), I ordered these, as they were the most reasonable price for a smaller quantity. I received them, and they are nice enough -- they feel almost like paper but also have some plastic feel too. Very weird but not a big issue. The size was right for the simple jackets that I wanted to protect in storage, and they have a small window to see/guess the contents (I am not fond of this, but it is all that there seems to be anymore). Overall, I would say they are great for storage in closets, and maybe some light travel, but I will have to see how well they stand up to the test of time. Read more
These bags are used to store winter coats/jackets when not in use. After searching various brands, quality, value and style these became the preferred choice. These come in a 5,10, 20 or 100 pack. These were bought as a 10 pack. There may be heavier duty garment bags at a higher price. The quality and application of these bags are suitable for the type of use. They are durable and fairly thick. There are some garment bags that seem more disposable or almost single use as thin and easily torn. These are not of that quality. They may not breath as well as some but in my opinion that makes then less protective of the garment inside especially if used for travel or in wet weather conditions with even minor exposure. They do provide a clear window at chest level that allows for a quick look at the garment inside the bag. If garments are dark it still may require a closer look at choosing right garment for similar items otherwise an acceptable way to identify contents. These darker bags are preferred over clear or plastic bags due to deterioration or discoloration over time. These have not and more than likely will not be used under travel conditions but seems like they would hold up just fine. I am a tour bus driver and stay in hotels on the road well over 200 plus nights a year and find keeping up with uniforms, laundry and looking sharp each day can be a challenge. I find the garment bags a very good value especially for the money. I travel with a couple of dress suits, 5 uniform shirts, matching dress pants as well as personal shirts, jackets and related clothes. The bags are just what I was looking for to accommodate my needs. They hang in my luggage bays under the bus and seem to hold up quite well. They are light and durable to a degree and priced right. So, in the event I soil or damage one due to my constant use they are easily replaced from the extras I purchased. The window allows me to see the contents and arrange them accordingly. They make my life on the road more manageable. While they are not designed for frequent airline travel, they are perfect for car travel or under my tour bus touring through Yellowstone and the National Parks. I ordered enough that in the event I need to replace one it won't break the bank. They keep my uniforms free from dust and unnecessary road smells and are very weather resistant. The top where the hanger protrudes is small enough and includes plastic material that seals the dust out and allows for easy use for hanging the garments.
