I loved these! Bought them for our formal wear to go to our granddaughters wedding out of state. It all traveled so well. These bags were a pleasant surprise. The the robes that I've made fit inside. The robes are made using a ton of fabric for an oversized fit, complete with large draping hoods. After supplying a sturdy hanger, I was able to insert the robe (one per bag) and zipped closed with ease. The benefit to the fabric in the garment bag is that it's breathable and your fabric items will remain fresh and protected. The problem with fabric in the garment bag is that it may not be stored without climate control - air conditioning in hot, humid weather, and heat in the cold. Otherwise, the fabric in the bag will rot over time. I've included three photos to provide an idea of the room inside the bag. The first picture is of the back of the robe. These are about exactly as I expected them to be. A very reasonable quality for the price. The material isn't as high quality as some more expensive garment bags I own, but for the price these are highly respectable. I bought a bunch of these since I am moving soon and want to protect some of my nicer jackets and coats without having to fold them up in a box. I imagine these will also be great for storing winter coats over the summer to protect from sun and dust. For non-leather garments I add a couple silica gel packets at the bottom of each one to prevent any moisture damage, but the material seems breathable enough to keep anything from getting nasty. Twice a year I trade out my wardrobe; spring/summer for fall/winter and vice versa. For years I’ve been using plastic retail garment bags I had on hand, and embarrassingly patching them up with packaging tape when they got holes. This year, I decided to do NOT do that, and actually buy garment bags. After reading reviews, I decided on the Plixio bags. I got a combo pack with the shirt and long bags, and an extra pack of long bags because I have a lot of maxi dresses. They are lightweight (I can easily fold up and tuck away the ones I’m not using), the shorter ones have a pocket so you can label contents, and the long ones have a window so you can see what’s inside. I can pack about 10-12 thick winter items in each bag, And 15-18 thinner pieces, regardless of the length of the bag. I also liked that top where the hook of the hanger comes out is reinforced...no packaging tape touch ups for me. When I got my bags, one of them had a zipper pull that wasn’t on the track, and not in a way I could fix myself. The garment bags come with a card that tells you if anything is wrong with your order to contact them directly - and they’ll make it right. Long story long, I had a genuinely friendly exchange of emails with customer service (thanks, K’Nyel) and my compensation was above and beyond what I expected. Get them - these bags are great. These are really good quality garment bags. I purchased the 40-inch and was so pleased with the quality that I also purchased the 60-inch size. They are so much better than the flimsy covers that came with my suits and jackets. The 60-inch are perfect for my wife’s long dresses. The clear plastic windows are good, but I added labels under the window to make it even easier to find the right item.
