We bought this garment bag to use for a road trip for our daughter’s out of town wedding. My husband and I both had our clothes in one bag: my mother of the bride dress, and his suit, plus a couple of other shirts of his. The bag was long enough for my dress. It’s lightweight, yet durable enough for our needs. Since it was a set of two bags, we gave the extra one to our other daughter to use for her bridesmaid dress, so that came in handy! There’s a metal grommet that can be used to loop over a hanger to fold the bag in half, but because we had several items in the bag (several hangers) we couldn’t use that feature. We still folded it in half to place on top of our suitcases & such in the back of the car, but when carrying it to & from the car we just had to carry it at full length. I like the clear panel at the top so you can see what’s in it and the bottom mesh zippered pockets at the bottom for shoes or accessories. Would definitely recommend! Read more
Just got these garment suit bags because I need something to protect my dress shirt during move And I have to say these are worth the purchase. Each bag can up too 5 hangers each of cloths and the material feels sturdy enough that I won't have to worry about it breaking. One thing to note is the zipper is a little flimsey you becareful not to pull on it too hard else you might break it off my accident. I also like that this bag as see through material so you can see what exactly is stored in the bag. I bought these to hold a couple of suits and a couple of sportcoat/slacks combinations. These will be great for traveling by car and for storage, but they aren’t really built for airline travel, not their purpose, but for car travel they are excellent. Strong material, plenty of room thanks to the gussets, a metal zipper, and inexpensive. All around great for what you get, a high quality “stripped down” version of other very expensive garment bags. I just received these today. The first thing I checked was whether or not they had a chemical smell. The answer? A resounding NO! There’s really no smell at all so no worries about funky factory smells transferring to your home or clothing. The bags are well made but not what I would consider heavy duty. I wouldn’t check them with my baggage for a flight but for carry-on, or for use in your closet or car, they are good. They are thick enough to protect clothing yet still lightweight. I like the clear panels on the front so you can see at a glance what’s inside. The zippered mesh pockets on the front will work great to keep my outfit, shoes and accessories all in one place. I bought a pair of these garment bags, and think they are great. I use them to transport t-shirts to and from conventions that I sell them at. I usually fit around 12 t-shirts on hangers in one of these garment bags, but I use thin hangers, so your results may vary. The bags are durable and keep my t-shirts clean. I like the window in the front so I can see what's inside without having to open up the bag and look. The two zippered pockets at the bottom also come in handy, as I use those for signs, tags, etc. that I use when I display my shirts. Overall, a great product for the money. Read more
These are very sturdy garmet bags. Good for storing off season and traveling. Can fit quite a bit for traveling. I used two and my husband used two on our last road trip. Didn't have to iron when we arrived at our destination. UPDATE: just used a new one for travel. When I zipped it up, zipper came right off.
