This robe is prefect, soft, not too heavy, not to light, and fits. My height is 5’4,weight is 135, a little on the busty side with small shoulders; ordered XL TALL. Does not touch the floor and is right at my ankles. In the winter could wear nightgown or pj’s under the robe. The insert in the back fits nice, and the ties are 5” wide and plenty long (come down to my knees when tied). Therefore, if you have a wider waist it would still be flattering. My husband likes it, “sexy”. Owned one in the same style made with chenille but fell apart after 2 decade and could not find another or a pattern for one. Beautiful expensive looking and feeling robe. I purchased two robes this one and the green 100% cotton robe and this one is by far the better robe and as described as the green one is the same style but the material is thinner (even though they both say heavy the cotton jersey is a lot thinner) and a smaller robe even though the same size. This robe feels expensive and looks expensive by far the better robe. They are both the same price but this material is a higher quality and hangs beautifully. I should have purchased this robe again instead of the cotton green one. Read more
I bought this robe for myself for when I go into the hospital and I just want people to know that I have had at least 20 different robes and this robe is the best robe I have ever purchased! It’s better than I ever expected! I am so impressed with the fabric, fit, length, the fact that it has pockets is wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this glamorous robe! It's lightweight enough to pack for a trip yet heavy enough to keep you warm. I am 5'6" and 250 lbs. I ordered a 1X tall and it's perfect--not too long. It does run large, so I could have easily fit in an XL, but I like having plenty of 'wrap' to feel well covered. I needed to exchange the first one I ordered (my bad) and the ladies were courteous and most helpful. I ended up ordering the ice velvet robe in Dusty Rose. One review said hers arrived with 2 super thin places in fabric; I'm confident the ladies at Santuarie would have replaced it for her had she asked (perhaps she did?).
