Better than most others!

AndyOctober 27, 2025

Arguably, I think these are one of the stronger nasal strips I've tried. I'm not sure if it's the extra added slit along the edge or the adhesive but these work really well. I have a really deviated septum that surgery hasn't fixed so doing anything affects my breathing and I find this product helped lift my nostrils to aid in airflow. I don't expect it to work miracles for my collapsed nostril but it definitely helps open my nostril even the littlest bit which goes a long way. It comes with wipes to help cleanse the area before you put the strip on. These are non-alcoholic but they did have aloe vera in it, which I am allergic to. You would cleanse your face without moisturizing and then clean the area with the wipe, which I tried but found gave me a mild reaction due to my allergy. Maybe you could use a toner or witch hazel? Something not super drying like alcohol? I just simply cleansed it and smacked the nasal strip on and it adhered fine after I held the strip on to the sides of my nose for 15 seconds like the instructions say. After that, they are not moving. I also like that they say "smile" on them, which is simple but sweet. I really like these nasal strips! Read more

Good adhesive, but pricey and some QA issues

K.C.December 14, 2025

Pneuma Nasal Strips – Performance Powerlite (15 Count + 15 Wipes) – Nose Strips for Breathing - Extra Strength Athletic Nose Strips & Nasal Strips for Running to Enhance Oxygen Intake (Smile) This is the second set of Pneuma nasal strips I’ve gotten, with the intent to use them when sleeping to help with my snoring. These are narrower than the other set, which worked very well for me, so I was a little worried that these wouldn’t lift open my nasal passage as well, but so far they seem to work fine, except for a quality control issue. The adhesive that attaches to your skin has proven to be very good, it’s not irritating and it holds through the night, even though my skin can get pretty greasy at times. However, the third night that I wore one (a different one each night, they’e not reusable) I woke up in the early morning and noticed that one side had detached. I tried sticking it back down while half asleep, but when I woke again later, it was detached again, so I just pulled it off completely. When I finally woke up completely, I realized that the bottom half of the strip was still suck to my nose, and the top (with the lifting strip) had separated from the base layer. This happened the next two nights as well, with the layer containing the “spring” part separating from what’s attached to my nose. Read more

Disappointed: Strips Don’t Stay On

Chaw-Lay.October 4, 2025

Effectiveness: The strips didn’t work as promised. Every single one came off within two hours, so they didn’t help with breathing support at all. Value for money: Definitely not worth the price since I couldn’t get even one strip to stay on. Comfort: They were lightweight, but since they didn’t stay on, the comfort didn’t matter much. Quality: Poor adhesive quality — the sticky layer separated from the black strip, and the plastic lifted almost immediately. Storage capacity: N/A — they come in a small pack, easy to store, but the performance makes that irrelevant. Design: The idea is good, and the packaging looks nice, but the design fails because the strips won’t hold. Overall, I really wanted to believe in this product, but it just didn’t deliver. Read more

Gimmick? Maybe. But I miss it when it’s gone.

Mike W.October 25, 2025

I never bought into the hype on these nasal strips. Stick a little springy bar across your nose, hope you breathe better, and maybe look less like a mouth-breather at the gym. Seemed like marketing to me. But I gave these a go and my deviated septum will never let me forget it. First impressions: You slap it on, and for a while, you’re just aware you have something on your face. It’s black, it’s bold, and it’s just in your peripheral vision, like a tiny bat signal for “I have allergies.” Not exactly subtle, but whatever. Workout time: Didn’t feel a damn thing until I peeled it off after two hours...and my nostrils instantly collapsed. Apparently, it was doing something after all. Who knew? The Details: They say to clean your nose before sticking it on. I did. They say to soak it before pulling it off. I did not and the leftover glue was like a college prank gone wrong. I will follow instructions from here on out. Sleep test: Tried it overnight. I woke to find it had separated. The black outer layer was sticking up and therefore no longer doing me any good, but the white layer that has the glue on it was still very much stuck to my face. Seems like a design flaw. It took serious soaking and effort to get the white layer to stop mating with my face, so don’t skip this step if you value your dermis or sanity. Packaging: The packaging is something else. A tin, inside a sleeve, inside a wrapper, inside another wrapper, inside a bag, inside a box. I felt like I was opening Russian nesting dolls. It was amusing and at least you get a nice little Altoids-style tin for your trouble. You get 15 strips and 15 pre-use cleaning wipes for when you're on the go. Bonus gripe: The strips have “INSPIRE” written on them. Would’ve preferred “BREATHE”—at least then I wouldn’t have to explain myself every time someone points at my face. Bottom line: I genuinely felt the difference when I didn’t have one on, so they do work. I understand the glue, you wouldn't want it less sticky. The black “look at me” design, and the overnight failure drop this down a notch. I'd love to see them stay together and be slightly more "springy." I’ll keep using them, but if the mid-sleep detachment keeps happening, I’ll go vet a different brand. Three stars for function and effort, minus a star for design flaws and branding. If you’re curious, give them a shot. Just keep some soap handy. Happy breathing. Read more
