So I have moved away from using a traditional computer for looking up references and instructional videos in my workshop, and started using my laptop and phone, but I needed something that would hold them up at the level I'm standing or sitting while I'm working. This arm has so many points of adjustment, it's perfectly suited for my needs. And with the options for both a phone-sized mount and laptop/tablet sized mount, this is a great addition to my workshop. The joints are sturdy and easy to adjust, with an included tool for easily adjusting and tightening them. I really appreciated that I could make the joints very stable while the whole mount can still swing around, giving me some flexibility when I'm working. I also like that the included clips keep a power cord out of your way while working. It's lightweight without being flimsy, so I can easily move it to other spots in the house, and it was very easy to assemble and get right to work. It holds a phone or a Microsoft Surface laptop (pictured). The only downside to the stable design is that it does require the included hex wrench to make any adjustments to the arm once i's in place. Very sturdy, can easily hold up my iphone 13 mini. I haven't tried with my ipad but I doubt it can hold it up mid air. It needs to be positioned or angled correctly, to lock it in place. There's a trick to it but overall I really like it. Read more
