This is one sturdy and portable monitor stand holder. It is very much like a car telephone holder but on steroids. It has a heavy base that keeps everything secure. Assembly only takes a few minutes. It can be used for other applications but I use mine for my portable monitor. There is no wobble or falling. I like that fact the stand holder can fold away to almost nothing making easy to take with you. I love my new purchase and we will be buying another. I find this purchase is a great value. Read more

This stand is sturdy, sleek, and very well-balanced. It holds my tablet and portable monitor securely without wobbling, even at full height. The adjustable arm moves smoothly, making it easy to find the perfect viewing angle. The heavy base keeps everything stable, and the metal build feels premium. Great for work, gaming, or watching movies hands-free. Read more

got tired of all the laptop contraptions. This is nice and simple too fold up if I want to travel and have the good usability and placement for these portable monitors. Works great with all the ones I have. Built well, stays in place, My only improvement would be a thumbscrew instead of hex but I dont adjust it often enough to matter Read more

The Polbecky tablet stand is a well made holder great for tablets or smaller 15 inch monitors. I tried the stand for two distinct applications. (more on that later...) First, the build quality is great. The arm moves smoothly Once properly positioned and tightened, the unit was very stable. I own several of these types of stands- the gorilla in the room is always how to best adjust and tighten the various arms. Some manufacturers use thumb screws, and others like here - use a hex (aka Allen) wrench. Though thumbscrews can break, I still find them easier to deal with, especially if you need to adjust angles often during use.. The plus side of the wrench method is you can get it much tighter. The wrench works fine enough, but there is always the risk it may be lost. Fortunately, Polbecky provides a cut out on the bottom base of the stand to store the wrench- which is thoughtful and reassuring. The bottom base is solid enough for most tablets and mini-monitors. This isn't the type of stand that you'd find convenient to constantly change angles with. My first use was in the recording studio. For voice over copy, I'm often struggling to have my copy view at a comfortable angle, and still be able to view the DAW screen, plus maintain proper distance to microphone. The unit worked great for my small 15" mini monitor.- both in landscape and portrait view. My second use was a regular live music gig. I used it to hold a smaller 8" android tablet (with simple cover ) that controls our monitor mixes on top of my organ.. Once set, the stand performed well, and I felt confident adjusting. You'll of course have to use gravity find the proper angles so the stand doesn't tilt, but once you've done that, it works great. 10" ipad also worked well. Didn't have my 12 inch handy at time of review, but I have a feeling it'd likely be a bit too heavy because of its thicker Otter case. Using this with smaller tablets or phones would be absolutely no problem. The clip that holds your device is easy to turn and secure, and provides a solid grip All in all a great unit well made and reasonably priced. Read more
