Want to note that I just installed this so I cannot yet attest to durability, will modify review if it does not hold up to daily use. Installation was very easy (I have a Buick encore) and it seems to hold my phone securely. I did have to place closer to the passenger side so my phone would not block the screen for my backup camera. I have a pop socket otterbox case, and it fits snugly without being too tight. Woks much better than pop sockets holder since you can adjust it. Only problem is that my socket spins a lot so it kept flipping my phone upside down. I added a furniture dot to grip it a bit and now it’s perfect. It’s a bit tricky to install at first, but ones it’s on it’s super secure! Read more
I have a crosstrek with vertical vents, which makes phone holders difficult. But this one rocks!! It easily hooks to a vent blade and is very easy to tighten how you would like. It holds my phone (with popsocket out) way better than I thought, and is super strong. It has not slid along the vent or dropped my phone at all, and it’s been in use for about a month. This is much better than the small ones that fit in your vent. This holds the phone out and you can adjust it & tighten it to be strait up rather than how the others only have it lay at a tilt. It’s farther from the vent so it no longer blocks air flow. LOVE IT! 🌟 Read more

I bought this phone holder because I don't like having to fumble around to snap my phone in and out of cradle holders, and I don't like magnetic holders either. This one seemed like a great option to just slide my phone in & out of without worrying the phone would drop during placement or going over bumps (like it has with magnet holders). It is really sturdy. It was easy to install after toying around with it. There are a lot of reviews saying the vent clip is too small to fit a vent - but those folks probably didn't realize you had to twist the base to get the clip to expand. I didn't realize this at first either. But after fidgeting with it I figured it out. The description *says* it fits most pop sockets - so I went out and bought a cheaper off-brand version. It did fit - however the phone would rotate on bumps, I am assuming that this is because the base of the off-brand pop-socket was thinner than that of a true pop-socket. I wound up going out and getting a real pop-socket and it worked perfectly without spinning. Very happy with the purchase. Read more
Love this phone holder. It holds securely to the vent, and the air still freely flows from the vent. The phone is secure even when I’m driving. It’s a great way tor me to glance at the map (waze) when I’m driving without touching the phone. I have a normal pop socket and it works perfectly. Read more
