This put out very little cold air but I was using it in a small room so I thought it would be okay. I used it three times and on the fourth it wouldn’t turn on. I changed outlets, removed the water container & reinstalled it and nothing. Of course by then it was too late to return it and get a refund. Don’t waste your money. Even when it worked, it was pretty useless. Read more

Let me preface this by stating that some of the negative reviews are likely because they have unrealistic expectations for $60 bucks. This is an evaporator air cooler, and probably one of the cheaper options available on Amazon. You can get larger units with larger tank capacity for twice the price. Having said that, I wanted something smaller to use that can directly blow on me while in my office while I work, or at night individually as I sleep. This is small enough to not take up a large amount of desk space, while providing really significant cooling. Air flow is good for the compatibility of the unit. If you are expecting to cool an entire large bedroom or room for $60 buts, than I would call you a little unrealistic. Many of the negative feedback I am seeing, are from people with extreme high expectations of a larger and more expensive unit, on a much smaller cheaper one. Second, what I did notice was when using the USB-C, it will need to be plugged into an actual usb ac wall plug. If you try and plug it into a lower voltage USB only plug, the plug may not send enough voltage to power the unity correctly. It will repeatedly turn off and on if the voltage is not enough. So if you are experiencing that issue, it is likely that your direct USB power line is not sending enough power to the unit. Read more

Does not cool very well. Spend more money to buy one that actually has a condenser. This was not worth the money Read more

We've had any number of these small "air conditioners" over the years, all of them with very small water tanks and minimal airflow. Not this one! It really puts out the air with minimal noise, and if you add ice cubes to its very *large* water tank, it definitely puts out *cold* air. No leak that I've noticed. If I had any complaints it's that you have to fill it frequently if the air is dry.. Otherwise, I'd say it's very close to perfect. Read more

The drain function Broke after using 3 times..—June 22, 2025
Water drains much faster than it said (have to refill multiple times a day) but definitely cools the room. Works great when we are spending the majority of time in one room (sleeping or while working from home for example) Read more

Do not be fooled by other reviews -- it does not cool even with ice water in it. Turns out it's noisy and no matter all the reviews I read that said it worked well at cooling -- it does not cool. It has ice water in it and the fan is on, but unless your face is 5 inches or less from it, you cannot get any cooling. And I really don't want a fan that close to my face haha. I was suspicious as to whether it really would, but I got my hopes up anyway. So I'm pretty disappointed in it. If you're looking at this product, just get a regular small, but more powerful fan. It will do a better job. I am likely going to return it and getting a small, much less expensive fan. Read more
