Very petite machine.. only holds enough water for barely 2 hrs of cooling. One does NOT feel the cooling unless machine is 4” away from your face or arms. I have filled the tank with ice cubes for about 2 days now. When I put my hand in from the air is barely cooler than room temperature. It’s practically just a little fan. I’m surprised by all the positive thing people are saying. My room is tiny and this doesn’t do anything. I feel like I wasted $70. The unit is nice to look at and the light is cool. I bought this for emergency cooling for my work van because the A/C fan control died in the middle of a heat wave (of course) and the dealer couldn't get another one for almost three weeks. First of all, it doesn't draw a lot of power. Second, it actually does a respectable job of cooling (especially if you have cold water in the tank). Third, it doesn't take up a lot of space. Fourth, it's not louder than road noise (but it's not "quiet" either). This does make the air humid, not bad if you're using it as a humidifier. The water tank has LED lights that you can turn on in a few different colors or leave off. Since I got the A/C fixed, I have it in my bedroom where it provides white noise and a night light and humidity if I put water in the tank. I love it! Read more

From customer reviews, this portable Fan/AC was rated around 4.6 when I bought it. After I used it and it failed miserably, I looked up the item again under my orders, and it was rated at 2.2. That is closer to reality. But I would not have knowingly bought an item rated at 2.2. It has a nice-sized container to hold ice, etc., but I couldn't feel anything close to cold air. The fan speed is very slow. If I had my face further than a couple of feet away, I hardly felt anything. I wouldn't recommend this unit to my worst enemy. You're better off just buying a powerful compact fan, which is what I'm going to do. I was so hoping that this thing would live up to it's billing, but no dice. Read more
