Summer has arrived! Keeping cool can be a big challenge. I was surprised at how well this device works! Rather than rely solely on a whole-house air-conditioner, you can keep that at a moderate temperature and then use this "Mini Air Conditioner" to provide spot-cooling to where you are sitting or working. The device is equipped with a three speed fan, as well as a water-tank that feeds a mister. It has an internal battery which is charged via a "Type C" USB power socket like the one on most modern mobile phones. Plug it in, charge it, and it is easy to tote and place the cooling device wherever you need it. Remember! the goal (to save money and energy) is NOT to cool a whole room, but rather to provide focused cooling wherever *you* are! The device's fan has three speeds: low, medium, high. Just running the fan will make you feel cooler, and with this ultra portable device, you will not have to stretch power cords around your house and lug fans around. Like ceiling fans, the air movement against your body alone will produce a sensation of cooling. But this device takes cooling one step further. With water in the integrated tank, you can select the button labeled "Cool". Now with the fan running at the same time, a fine mist is fed into the path of the blowing air. This causes the mist to evaporate, which produced a cooling effect. The fan has a very low noise level. There is also an integrated timer in case you want to have the device run a set period of time. Another button produces a soft light of ever changing colors. Although some may like these last two features, they do nothing for me. The light show might be interesting in a darkened room, but not something that interests me. And as for the timer, remember this device is meant to cool the a PERSON immediately adjacent to the device, NOT the whole room! So rather than using the timer at all, it is more useful to just turn in on when you are next to it, and turn it off if you leave the area. I like this a lot! It is inexpensive with great functionality. I might have to buy a second one for my wife! Read more

My fan blows colder more powerful air then this unit. Read more

It's basically just a small fan. The ice water doesn't do anything since it pretty much just sits on top of the fan. It's not really evaporating cooling if the water remains separate from the air. We bought it for our dog who constantly overheats and we wanted to have something light and portable that we can take camping. The fan itself is perfect due to its size and portability but it doesn't provide that cool moist air we were hoping for. Not worth the price. Read more

Not as cool as I was expecting but definitely did better than just a fan. I add ice to the water well and it makes it better. When it gets really hot (SoCal) this will definitely be on my nightstand when I sleep. I would recommend. The charge lasts about 4 hour(ish), but in the plus side, you can use it when it’s charging. This thing looks tiny, and is very travel friendly and portable, but it’s actually really powerful! There was another comment that put it well, saying the most instantly cools you down, but you don’t actually “feel” the mist in terms of any wetness. It’s such fine mist that you can barely see it, but you definitely notice a difference when you turn off the mist setting. My husband and I like to add a good amount of ice and fill the tank about half way with water and set it next to his nightstand before bed since he gets hotter than I do. We put it on the second setting, 4 hour timer, with the mister and it is perfect. The cool air hits me pretty strongly and we’re both so impressed. Absolutely worth the price and would highly recommend. It’s made sleeping much more comfortable, especially with summer starting Read more

I liked the idea that it had a rechargeable battery so it could be used anywhere. Unfortunately it doesn't have enough power to cool anything. The cooler spray is hit or miss if and when it decides to work. 99% of the time it hasn't worked. I don't recommend this product. Read more

This mini AC is wonderful if you are looking to keep a small room cold during these hot days. The water tank holds enough water to keep it on for the whole night. The three different speeds are super convenient depending if it’s night or day. Another thing I loved was the LED lights showing a variety of color at night which I personally thought it was really cool. My room is pretty small and works to perfection and keeps me cool. Not much more to say or complain as it is a very good buy for the summer. Read more
