I will admit - I ordered this product as a bit of a gimmick and wasn't expecting much. I was surprised. Yellow chick aside - this is actually a pretty functional charging unit. It's the only one I own that has built in cables that tuck away - I really like that. It's the only one I own that has numeric display - I really like that too. It's early days but it's well built and 10000mAh is more than enough to charge a phone a couple of times. Got this TTVCER Portable Charger (10,000mAh) in the Yellow version because of the bright color & cute duck. I figured it would be easier to spot such a bright charger in my purse or backpack, versus searching around forever for my typical black ones. Love that it has built-in cables for both USB-C & Lightning, along with a port for USB-A. It even has a ring that can be popped up to become a phone holder, and the bubble design over the duck doesn't affect that function at all. The ring is unfinished on the underside, so when you pop that open, it almost makes you think you broke the design. But as a stand/holder, it works fine. (The product info suggests to "gently open the ring", but it's not easy to pop open. It should not be attempted without using some type of tool, if you have longer nails.) The charger came with about 30% charge, but when I plugged my iPhone in, it drained to 0% pretty fast & had only charged my cell about an additional 14%. It then took about 5hrs. to re-charge from 0% to 100%. I then tested it on my previous cell phone (Google Pixel 6 Pro) that was totally drained. It used up about 62% of its juice (and also took about 5hrs.) to charge the cell to 100%, so I doubt this could fully charge this phone type more than once, as per the listed Specs. So I docked a Star overall, as well as reflecting that more fully under the Battery life rating at 3-Stars. (But then again, I've yet to find a moderately priced charger that can recharge a cell multiple times.) At least, it didn't get even slightly warm while in use. This charger is small & compact, as stated, though it's not the lightest little brick. It feels like it weighs about the same as my Google Pixel 6 Pro, while being half the size. It can fit easily in a bag, though it's a bit too thick to carry in a pocket. Overall, this is a cute charger for a tween--or someone young at heart. Just don't expect it to fully charge multiple devices all at once. Read more
