I like this espresso maker. Since I started making my own espresso with a larger tabletop machine, I was looking for a way to make espresso on the go, for example at work or in a hotel when traveling. I am impressed with this compact machine, that now I am using it at home at my desk all the time, even though I could go into the kitchen and use the larger machine. This paired with the water bottle type heaters for traveling has worked amazingly well. There is no perceivable difference in the quality of my espressos. The machine is very well designed and the material feels high quality (especially the plastic parts) and very sturdy. It has a nice large water reservoir that is able to hold enough water to make a double. The quality of the espresso shots is amazing with nice rich crème on top every single time. I did get the additional basket plus, so I can pull double shots and I highly recommend adding this. The most amazing part is the battery life. I tried once or twice to make an espresso from cold water and that eats a good portion of the battery, but it also heats the water from room temperature to make a perfect hot espresso. But when I use already heated water from a kettle, I can go with this machine almost indefinitely. I have used it daily for a few months now and so far have not needed to recharge it.
