It works fine, but you have to turn it on and off by opening the ball. There’s another one out there, probably from the same company that only works when you bounce it slap it tap it, which is great cause you only charge it when it’s dead. Read more
It is very sturdy. Our dog has had many other propelled toys and this is by far the best. It hasn't even come apart yet and our big golden uses it every day. The quality has been excellent. Read more

When the package arrived we charged it up and put it down. Our dog started playing and having a great time. After a time she was quiet so we checked on her and she was sound asleep, the ball still active. The best dog sitter ever. Your dog will love it! Read more
Update less than a week later: neither dog or cat has any interest. The battery charged overnight now lasts 2-3 minutes and dies. I thought we’d get more battery staying power out of this. She’s living his best life while I sit on the couch wondering why she gets the fun toys. I can't wait to try it out with my son's cat who loves these type of toys! The E-TPU material is tough enough to survive most dog’s jaws. This thing? It's still bouncing, still mocking the pile of destroyed plushies in the corner - it's well made and will take a beating and that was my biggest concern. USB rechargeable means no frantic midnight run to the store for batteries. You just plug it in like a phone, and boom, dog entertainment system rebooted. I swear, when it kicks into bounce mode, my dog looks at me like, “Human, behold the sorcery you have unleashed.” Downside: it’s so entertaining that I’ve caught myself watching it instead of Netflix.
