This is a great addition to our camper for trail rides, hiking, biking, or just out walking. You can get 2 charges for your phone (I did). The light is great for after dark or trying to see in a dark place. Its small enough for your pocket but has a clip for your belt loop or back pack attachment. It charges fairly well with brighter sunlight but not too great with indirect light.(it does charge but it's much slower) you can also charge it with a cord. Its great for beach trips for a phone or speaker. Its a great value for the money and I think everyone should have one or two around for power outages. Read more

I mostly wanted a cheap power bank that had solar for a makeshift overnight fan setup in my car that could charge during the day while its sitting in there. I know most of these cheap-o battery banks are not to their advertised capacity, but this battery life is majorly disappointing. This power bank can't even run a small 80mm fan for a full 8 hours before it dies. So I wanted to do a comparison: the fan in question draws < 1w as measured even at its highest speed. Running it on an Anker 737 power bank (24,000mAh), the readout is closer to 0.6~0.8w of draw from the fan. Ankers "smaller" capacity bank says at the fans highest setting, it can run for more than 2 days (about 54 hours) and almost 68 hours at its lowest setting. And it lasted the full night with much capacity to spare. But this solar one can't even run for a portion of that, even though it's rated capacity is 61% greater. It also got warmer than I'd like while charging by USB, which is concerning for a device this cheap. But USB-C is a nice to have on this, so I guess that's something considering it wasn't shown in the sales images. Something else to note (which is an issue I've had on previous solar power banks) If the battery is fully drained, it doesn't appear to be able to recharge by solar. The LEDs don't blink to indicate charging under sunlight unless I have done some pre-charging on the battery. It still might be worth leaving in the car for an emergency. I might crack the case open to see what size battery cells they actually put in, just to verify my tests. Read more

I gave it two stars because it does work, however: To fully charge my ipad with this power bank I have to charge this power bank 4 times from my house wall plug, that takes a total of about 64 hours. Then, each time I have to charge my ipad from the power bank that takes 10 hours each time for a total of 40 hours. To fully charge my ipad with this device takes approximately 100 hours. Almost 4 days ! And that is if there is no time lost between charges. Read more

This portable charger is everything I could ask for! It’s lightweight and easy to carry. I love that it charges itself by solar energy which makes it perfect to use on my weekends on the soccer fields with my kids! It works so well and doesn’t get hot while using! The flash light is also bright which would be great if using at night while camping or something. Read more
