I kicked a metal pipe with my bare big toe which caused an incredible amount of pain. Even with rest, the pain continued periodically for months, especially when working out. My podiatrist told me to get these insoles to keep my foot from flexing. They helped immensely. It was awkward to adjust to exercise without the flexibility of my old insoles but it was worth it for me. It's been about a month since I started using my old insoles again and the pain still didn't come back. Good insoles that help reduce toe pain from hallux rigidus

I have hallux rigidus in both big toes, but worse on the right. Orhopedist recommended Morton's extension. Tried MANY before I got to these. I have size 14EEE feet and finding an extension that fit my shoes well was difficult. These replace the insole of my Brooks rocker sole shoes and definitely reduce the pain in my toes from walking. They weren't the least expensive, but they're certainly the best of the 4 or 5 different ones I tried. Would recommend. Read more
