I wasn't expecting much from a box of rags, but even so I feel they could have been better. They are what they advertised as, but there was so much unraveling thread and lint that I didn't really feel that they were clean. I didn't see any stains, so they were visibly clean. Aside from that, all the rags I pulled out were more or less 15 inches, and they were all terry cloth. They were pretty thin, not fluffy as pictured, but they work as expected. I always have towels around to wipe off my patio furniture, and now I can use these rags and not worry about getting a good towel dirty. I keep towels in my car, too, to wipe off the dew from my windows that blocks my view in the morning. These will also be good for cleaning my my cat's nightly vomit deposits. I'll probably take all the rags out of the box at once and give them a good shake and trim before putting them in the places I will use them. The dispenser box is a great idea, but I won't be using it. Read more

I ordered this box of terry cloth rags for general cleaning, and they’ve been very useful. The cotton material is super absorbent and works well for everything from garage messes to household cleaning tasks. The compressed box packs in a lot of rags, and once opened, they expand nicely and feel substantial. They hold up well with repeated use and washing and don’t fall apart or shed excessively. This has been a practical, no-nonsense supply of cleaning rags that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great to have on hand for a wide range of jobs. Read more

These are not true cleaning rags in any practical sense. What you receive are torn-up scrap pieces of cheap towels with unfinished edges and hundreds of loose strings hanging from each piece. They shed immediately and actually create more mess than they clean. Because of this, they are completely unsuitable for indoor use. Do not plan to use these for dusting, bathroom cleaning, countertops, or any general housekeeping. The listing claims “housekeeping,” which is misleading at best. These are strictly rough shop scraps, and even then, there are better options. The product images are also misleading. The rags are not fluffy, not uniform, and not sewn around the edges. They look nothing like what is shown online. Think towel factory leftovers rather than usable cloth rags. For the price, this is a poor value. There are significantly better quality shop rags and microfiber options available at the same or lower cost. Unless you need disposable, low-quality scraps for very dirty garage work and do not care about lint or strings, skip these. Read more

I know it's hard to be disappointed in a box of rags, but I am. These are thick, heavy, completely frayed scraps that offer very little in the way of absorbency. They come with a faint but unsettling odor. There is so much loose string on every tattered "towel" that you could probably knit yourself a slightly smelly sweater. These might be useful if you are in a shop where people routinely spill oil where they shouldn't, as you could use them to push that oil where you want it. Other than that, there are much cheaper, much better alternatives all around you. Honestly, I'd rather buy ten bucks worth of microfiber cloths that can actually do their job, driving to the store each time, than pay money for these. Read more

If you’re buying this for like mechanic purposes these are perfect i got it for in house cleaning and i washed them before use because they felt dirty like they were not visually dirty but they just felt like not new and i didn’t want the wiping my counters but i think that’s what the expectation of these rags are not just scraps of a certain material some of them were different texture cottons and shredding a little but not a big deal these are meant to just be cleaning with so i just threw em in the washer before using and there you go. Easy peezy. Read more

I used these terry cloth shop rags for a mix of projects in my garage, including wiping down tools, cleaning up oil and grease, and general messes from small repairs. They are absorbent and do a good job soaking up spills without falling apart right away. The thickness feels decent, and they hold up through multiple uses before needing to be tossed in the wash. They are not the softest rags, but that actually works in their favor when scrubbing dirt and grime off metal surfaces. After a few washes they did fray a bit around the edges, but they were still usable and did not lose much absorbency. Overall, they have been reliable for everyday shop cleanup and saved me from using paper towels constantly. For the price, I think they are a good deal and a practical thing to keep on hand for messy jobs. Read more

There are a bunch of cloths stuffed into the box. I like that the box has a perforated cut out that can open up on one side so the cloths are still in the box. The cloths are cut up pieces similar to a slim towel. It is linty. They soak up water well. Easy to wash. Read more
