Preston Lane is a luxury high-end brand so I expected the price point to reflect that. In my opinion, I would never pay this price for a bath mat but that doesn't mean someone else won't. I wanted to love this bath mat because it looks like something from a luxury spa, but after using it for a few weeks I’m not convinced it’s worth the cost. The mat is thick and soft underfoot, and it does absorb water fairly well. The color is rich and hasn’t faded after a couple of washes, which I do appreciate. That said, it’s really no better than other 100% cotton mats I’ve owned that cost half as much. It doesn’t have a non-slip backing, but it didn't shift around when I was stepping out of the shower. It took an average amount of time to dry in my warm bathroom so I'm not sure how to measure the "quick-dry" claim. Overall, it’s attractive and comfortable, but the price tag doesn’t match the product. If you’re buying for looks, it’s fine. If you’re buying for everyday use, there are more practical and affordable options out there. Read more

This bath mat feels very thick and plush under your feet, giving the bathroom a nice touch of luxury. The cotton material is soft and does a great job of soaking up water when you step out of the shower. I really appreciate that it does not have a rubber backing. This makes it much easier to wash and dry because you don't have to worry about the backing cracking or peeling off over time. It lays flat on the floor and the clay color looks warm and stylish. Well for a few positive notes this cotton bath mat feels nice and it is quite soft. It's easily washable. The mat also looks quite nice when it is laying properly on my bathroom floor. Another pro for me is that it fits in my bathroom just perfectly. Unfortunately it moves out of place just about every time that I walk on it. It's similar to a very soft and thin towel. From the beige color to the plush feel when you step out of the shower on it, this bath mat keeps my floors dry, while soaking up every bit of water, while also making me feel like I'm stepping onto a whole blanket. It's plush, thick, super absorbent. So far it hasn't held any odors from soap or water. It drys exceptionally fast even when still sitting on the floor the next morning it's completely dry and ready to be used again. The thread count is high, and look, pretty basic but I actually looked at the pictures and was ok with how it looked. As for non slip, I'm still able to write this so I haven't slipped on it with stone flooring using it right side up. For the price it's ok, you can get a bigger one but for the quality I would say it's on par if you want to spice your bathroom up. I would get another one, possibly a bigger size if I could. Decent bath mat. Absorbent and nice soft material. Back isn't treated with any sort of slip proof backing but it seems to stay in place pretty well on tile floors. I think backing would be a bonus. This is nice when it comes time to wash it though since you can just throw it in the washer and not worry about a rubber back. The material feels nice on your feet but it isn't overly impressive IMO. It looks nice on the floor and the color (clay in my case) is accurate to the image and consistent. I think its a little over priced personally. Its nice but didn't jump out of the box and make me say "wow this is an amazing floor mat" when I got it. I rated it as a 4 star because I do think the material is better than just average but the price is hard for me to justify. I expected more at a 42 dollar price point. Maybe its the material and I don't understand its special or something. Nice but too expensive is my final statement. Read more
