Purchased for Vegas- I haven’t worn it there yet but I’ve tried it on and WOW it’s stunning! Paired with a Michael Jackson shirt for the cirque de soleil MJ One show (hasn’t come yet-pic shown is black), I’ve never felt more ready for anything. Has a liner. Vibrant true gold color. Stretchy. Runs a tad large- I have wide hips as a 5’11” 158 lb woman, thin waist. I ordered the size 6-8 (I’m usually a 6 in tops, 8 in skirts, 10 in jeans but I take them in for tailoring in the waist- I need it for the hips) Viva Las Vegas! Nice skirt for the price. The sizing is very generous. I ordered a large but am returning because it was too big all over. It lost the "pencil" shape because it was so large. I also didn't like the color on me. I ordered the Matte Gold, which was very pretty, but made my very fair skin look even paler. I almost wish it didn't have a zipper. It functions poorly and you have to zip it up before you put the skirt on because it's impossible to zip it to the top once it's on your body. It really serves no purpose. This is a quality-made skirt with lining, stretch and a zipper. The skirt looks expensive and classy! I have a bit of hips and butt, so I ordered a size up (XXL) to be safe because I did not want a skin tight fit. Ends up... it fits perfectly as I desired! It’s a tiny bit loose in the waist area so I may decide to get a slight alteration to take in the extra room, but it fits and feels just fine without it. This skirt is really a steal of a deal. It's well made for the price and the sequins don't look like they will fall off when worn once or even a dozen times. Reminds me of the quality pieces my aunts would haul out when we needed costumes in high school. The fit is flattering and bonus I don't need to wear Spanx under it! I love the mermaid look of the two-tone shine. This is going to be my 2019/20 Holiday Party staple piece. Easy to dress up or down depending on the event. Thinking of trying another color or two. The good: The color is beautiful and what I expected from the pictures. The fit is good, even a little roomy if you like that bodycon look in your pencil skirts. When on, the skirt looks fantastic. The bad: To say the skirt is poorly made is a kind way to put it. I cannot wear it as it was delivered without risking a wardrobe malfunction. There are 4 places on the waistband where it has come apart (see pictures for examples) the stitching at the zipper is starting to come undone (also in pictures) they must not have used the correct needle type as the fabric has several runs like nylons and you can see the stitching lines are horribly crooked at the waistband. I am a costumer by trade so I can fix what is coming apart and the sequins hide the poor stitch lines, however if you are not willing/able to essentially finish sewing this skirt together when it arrives, you may need to look elsewhere. If you are lucky enough to get one with out all these construction problems then you have a great skirt. I may tempt fate and try to order another color to see if it’s the same as it really does look nice while you’re wearing it. I just want it to stay together and not fall apart on me! Gah! Adding: ordered another color, same size. Fit was a little different but not much, but the construction was way better on the blue/green than on the plum. Had I ordered the blue/green one first I would’ve given 5 stars. So tread carefully knowing yours could be great or it could be a disaster. I am 5' 4" and weigh 119 lbs. The XS skirt is perfect. Quality on point. Note: I ordered a small/ noticing I got XS. Good thing they sent that though and it fit perfectly. So had they sent small it would be too big as I have no butt or tummy Lol! Bear in mind, 1) The skirt stretches but you have to order your correct size as it's not going to stretch any bigger than it is. 2) has a thin lining which prevents it being see through. 3) very flexible can where anywhere you want to wear it due to classy length ( hits me exactly above my knee). I needed a sequin skirt which would pair with a white top. I thought this skirt would do the trick based on the marketing photo. The sliver/white top third of the skirt was eye-catching! Regrettably, I gave this skirt 3 stars because I found it to be adequate at a minimum. My photo submitted as part of this review depicts the product that I received. The skirt received contradicts the marketing photo which is suppose to represent the Silver/Champagne/Coffee colored skirt. In the marketing photo, the Silver/Champagne/Coffee skirt is bright in it’s tri-colored scheme. The illusion is that the inner slip is “white. “ The slip is actually “beige” which darken the skirt & skews the color scheme making it kind of drab for my particular needs which influenced this purchase. That aside, I would still rate it 3 stars even if the slip was the color depicted. It is adequate in quality, cute when paired well, nice workmanship, and I can see where it could be nice on many a figure. It is soft for sequin, and the inside slip appears to be protective. It also seems to have a little /stretch give for comfort. Reviews are helpful, but you really have to try products for yourself. If I hadn’t purchased it, I would never have had my buyer beware experience. If you don’t try stuff for yourself, you will never know if you might have loved it…. Read more
