Shorter barrel than I expected

I thought this curling iron was OK; it created nice curls and heated up fast, but I prefer the ease of my standard iron. I have tried products like this over the years and have had similar results. The styles it creates are beautiful, however I can create the same looks in less time with a standard curling iron. You can create any curly style with a standard iron which is why I eventually revert back to that. I thought the rotating action was cool, it took a second of practice before I got the hang of it. I like the feeling of the grip and the thumb placement, it feels comfortable to hold. I have really long hair and that's where the product got tricky for me. The barrel is shorter than I expected so all my hair doesn't fit around it. It wasn't too much of a problem for me particularly because I was looking to create a loose curl with my ends. However, if I was looking to curl all my hair this would not work. The price matches the product, but the design doesn't work for my length. Read more
