Worked for our balcony project!
My husband and I were in a bind as our balcony was in bad shape and we had to order specialized materials to fix it. One of those materials was this plastic welder. We used it to melt the seams of the flooring membrane we purchased for our balcony. It worked like a charm and we haven't had ANY leaking. I don't know if it would be good for repeat projects but it definitely saved our behinds and worked for what we needed it for. The price is still MUCH cheaper than we could have rented this tool for.
