This sharpener has performed VERY WELL. I Had a set of stainless steel knives, of rather poor quality. The sharpener brought them back to life. A very wise purchase! Read more
While this won't take the place of having your knives done by a professional this does work far better than a manual sharpener. With the angled slots you are going to get a far better edge than other ones that only allow the blade to be run standing straight up. The power functions make it easier to sharpen your knife without using as my physical force while the polishing feature helps to make the new edge straight and even the edge out as a whole. I did find the scissor part harder to use but over all this is a good choice to keep your knives sharp without going to a professional. Read more
It does the job kind of ok, as others have pointed out doing it by hand is better, The knifes come sharp not razor sharp, and still have to be honed. One aspect that is not mentioned is that you need to now what angle do your knifes have its either 15 or 21 degrees in order to sharpen them correctly. over all it saves you time, and gives you a decent sharpened edge, just dont use it on your Japanese sushi knifes as you may destroy them, for everyday knifes is ok Read more

Works ok. But, slot 1, right side, has a plastic divider than impaires the knife being sharpened. Use caution when inserting the knife. You'll need to make sure the knife stays to the right of the divider, but goes down far enough to press against the spinning sharpening wheel Read more
The media could not be loaded. received the Professional 5-in-1 Electric Knife Sharpener with LCD Display and Diamond Abrasives and was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it is. While using it, I did find I needed to secure the sharpener with one hand while guiding the knives or scissors with the other, but that was easy enough. My old electric knife sharpener was over 40 years old, so it was definitely time for a replacement, and this model really impressed me. The precision angle guides make it almost impossible to misalign the knife, which gave me confidence while sharpening. I could easily choose the right speed setting and get a clean, sharp edge every time. The ability to sharpen just about every cutting device in my home is a great bonus.
