I ordered this because my husband and I are older and have lost some height as we age. We were both curious to keep track of our height. I have had back problems and the decompression of my spine has caused shrinking in height. This height measurement tool was super easy to put together and to use. With it, my husband I were able to determine that we have both lost about an inch in height. This measurement system is also good for checking a child’s height too. It comes apart easily if you want to store it. Though it takes up little space being set up as well. Overall, I am very happy with how this system works. Read more

Arrives compact: base/platform, 4 pole/rod segments, top/measuring piece. Easy assembly: link the segments in numerical order, slide the top piece on, and insert the pole into the base. Mostly plastic, but sturdy enough. Place by wall so the person being measured doesn't fall backward while leaning on the rod. Scale lines and numbers are printed clearly, so you can read the whole numbers of centimeters and inches and infer the fractions from the lines. I wish the numbers were a bit larger though. Read more
