I chose this blow dryer because it promised to be quiet, and it truly is! As a bonus, it’s not only quiet but also compact and lightweight. I especially love the three temperature settings. Somehow this little powerhouse manages to be quiet, featherlight, and still leaves my long hair looking bouncy and full. For the price, this is a win! If I could change one thing, I’d move the temperature button so I don’t accidentally press it while holding the dryer. Still, that’s just a small inconvenience compared to how much I enjoy using it. I love me a good, reliable dryer, and this one is that. It's easy to use with a simple buttons on the front to change the temperature, though button location is a bit of a problem as they can be hit by accident, changing settings. A LED display shows you what temperature you're at, so you can get the right level. It is a good size for travel, and the long cord gives flexibility if you need to move around a lot (or, as is our case, the power plug isn't near the mirror). I am blown away with this product! I have never used this type of blow dryer but I will never go back. The air is somehow softer and my hair is smoother than with my old normal hair dryer. The controls are super easy to use. There is a switch for how how fast the air comes out and then a button for the heat setting. The only issue that I had was sometimes you can accidentally press the button for the heat without realizing it while blow drying your hair. You can tell though because the temperature goes up. But with a child you'll want to glance down at it regularly to make sure you didn't accidentally make it too hot for them. All the attachments fit well and seem to work fine. I tried the diffuser on my kid with curly hair and it dried quick without getting hair blowing everywhere. I am super happy with this product and excited to start using it instead of my ancient one! This hair dryer is competitively priced for a budget hair dryer and it does the job drying the hair. It's not my favorite hair dryer I've ever owned, but I do love that it is small and compact making it a good travel option. Additionally, the box says "Brushless" across the front. I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean, but I definitely needed to use a brush to dry my hair. The configuration of the dryer is such that there is a switch to turn it on/off and to change it through the 3 power options. There is a slight delay once turning it on for the dryer to begin blowing but it's not a big deal. Below the switch is a button that navigates through different temperature settings between 50-110 degrees. I found that as I held the handle, I accidentally changed the temperature setting several times as my hand rests right where the button is located. The hair dryer also has a very long cord, which I greatly appreciated. For a reason I am unsure of, I found that it took my hair much longer to dry with this hair dryer than with other dryers I've used, and I have thin, easy-to-dry hair. I felt like I couldn't get the width of the air stream quite right. I also played with the attachments, but my hair doesn't need all the extras, and I found them less than effective.
