This microwave special pot makes rice cooking the easiest and fastest. I never burn the rice as is possible on the stove top. I will never go back to cooking over a stove top again. We owned the white version of this rice cooker for over 10 years. It worked perfectly, never leaking or leaving a mess in our microwave. Using it 2-3 times a week to make rice, it began to yellow a bit where the inside had gotten scratched. My wife replaced it with a different model. Big mistake. It leaked a starchy liquid mess all over the microwave platter and the top & sides of the cooker. Thankfully after searching Amazon, I discovered the same model we had but in grey! Even better. I love this microwave cooker. It is so easy to cook the rice in 10-15 minutes. I also love that you can just use the container to store the cooked rice in the fridge. It cleans up very easily. I had this same set for quite a few years and bought this after dropping the top and breaking the tabs. I also bought the smaller size, which is perfect for a smaller portion. Read more
