cleaning gel Great Dust Remover! I purchased this to use in my car to get into those hard-to-clean areas. There’s some reason I can’t get in the cracks with a rag. I was trying to find something that would help me totally clean the car. Especially those crumbs that sneak on the side of things. It worked great. then again I clean my car pretty regularly so it’s not overly dirty. It’s just those cracks in between and I can’t reach above me. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test: Pros: - Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and dab it into the dusty areas. It was able to reach places I could not go with a rag. Also, if your wallet and you stick it into a little crack, it’s much easier to get out of those hard-to-get places. It’s not sticky and doesn’t stick to your hands, which is helpful. Nothing like sticky stuff in my hands. This is good for loose dust, even though it slides on the side of the seat, so I can’t get it. I even dabbed it on my carpet, and it didn’t stick to it, but it got the crumbs up. It worked well at removing the dust in the vents and some corners you could not get a rag into. Another thing I really liked about it is that it doesn’t scratch your car‘s upholstery. It’s very gentle and easy to use. Cons: It works a little slower than just dragging your rag over things, but at least it cleans things that you usually wouldn’t have been able to reach. The other thing I’m not sure about is how long it will last before you have to replace it. I have used it several times, and it still works, but I think eventually, it will fill up with dirt,, and you need to get a clean one. Read more

This car cleaning gel works really well for picking up dust, dirt, and crumbs from all the little nooks and crannies in my car. It’s super easy to use — just press it into the areas you want to clean and it lifts everything right out. I appreciate how convenient it is for quick car maintenance, and the quality is solid for what it is. Great little tool to keep on hand for interior cleanups. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I love that this is a simple a reusable item to keep in my center console and help keep the dust away. It does have a bit of a smell but it doesn’t necessarily smell bad. I also just discovered it doesn’t work as well when it’s cold out (which makes sense but didn’t really think it through). I’ve had this several months now and have used it over and over to get the dust and crumbs out of small nooks and crannies in the car. It does not feel overly sticky on your hands but will work well to clean up without needing to have wipes or a vacuum on hand. Overall a great product! Read more

I pruchased this to use in my vehicle to get into those hard to clean areas. I ended up using it in my dad's work truck to really put it to the test. He is working in a very dusty area with the red dirt....his truck was covered in the thick dust, so a perfect test of the product. He and I cleaned what we could with rags, but I wanted to try this stuff out on the creases and vents. It worked alright. Here are the pros/cons of the product from my initial test: Pros: - Ease of use: This is very easy to use. Just open it up, pull it out, and start dabbing it into the dusty areas. I found that tapping the dust to get the worst of it off before dragging it over a second time worked best. - Cleaning: This is good for loose dust. It worked really well at removing the dust in the vents and some of the corners you could not get a rag into. Cons: - Cleaning: This did not remove some of the stuck on dust that a rag would have removed. I also found that getting in tighter crevices did not work very well either. It also left a little greasy feel that may attract dust or that some people may not like on their dashes or inside their vehicles. - Cleaning the product: With as heavy of dust that was in my dad's truck, the gel got pretty dirty. I am not sure the best way to clean it, or if you can even clean it. Rags and towels are easy...just throw them into a washing machine. I'm guessing this is use until completely dirty and throw away. - Messy: This also leaves a greasy feel to your hands. With rags, you can usually minimize this, but this stuff gets all over your fingers, especially the finger you use to press it into vents. Overall, this is something that is a neat idea, but it really is not great. It worked okay at getting loose dirt and dust off of surfaces, but you could also get the same results from using something like tape or wrapping a small tool with some cloth and using cleaning agents. This might make a cheap, fun stocking stuffer if you want to get something that is different. Personally, I don't think I'll buy this again and just use rags. Read more

1) It worked great! 2) The goop looked like a giant booger when it was done. (I just used a small amount so I could toss it. I’m not sure if that’s “goop etiquette” or not.) 3) It was so satisfying to sit quietly in my car and goop it. Bonus tip (optional): You can sing “Whoop there it is” in your head but replace “Whoop” with “Goop” Read more

Love these cleqnin putties! I did order for to give a stocking stuffers to my grandchildren. The putties were received with surprisingly high thanks. I never would have expected the reaction to this goofy little product. I use it myself in both my car for like air vents and around the gear shift area to get out find particles that I can't always get out with window cleaner and paper towel. And I use it on my keyboards andthe bottom of my mice and other electronics and the air intake vents for the home heating system. Those especially are hard to clean because of the slats and the fact that they're screwed into the wall. I would buy these over and over again. Read more
