This bar is made of heavy duty, metal construction for enhanced durability, and weight support. It is easy to install and remove, with clear and concise instructions. It is almost as simple as installing a shower curtain rod. All welded components are full, with no excess flux. The horizontal bar features integrated levels on each side, to ensure proper installation; additionally, two support braces are included. An Allen wrench is included, and one of the braces has a holder to store the Allen wrench in, for convenience. Note that the door can be fully closed, without interference. Read more
Well made but for some reason, it will not attach to my door. The strongest door frame we have in the house is where I'd like to use this and it doesn't quite fit properly enough for me to trust it with any weight. Make sure to measure properly before ordering. This is one of the nicer versions of this type of bar I've seen. Read more
It’s a decent bar. Much better than other ones that I’ve owned. I recommend this product to anyone searching for an average-quality pull up bar ! Read more
I got this pull-up bar over many others that I have seen because of the additional support struts below the bar that give it a much sturdier structure. As I pull on it, my downward force is transferred to the ends of the bar, which press out against the doorframe, and the support struts which angle down to the doorframe below. This creates two triangle shapes, and from an engineering standpoint, the triangle is the strongest shape to bear loads. I don’t have an 880-pound weight to test their claim, but I can see by the design of this pull-up bar why it might actually be able to bear that heavy of a load! What I do know is that this bar feels extremely secure when installed correctly and locked into place and I trust that it will support my entire body weight safely. Besides doing pull-ups, this bar can be installed at different heights for other exercises. At its highest position, I hang from it for a great arm and shoulder stretch. I put it at waist-level and hold onto it for squats and leg lifts. At knee-level, I use it for a number of different leg stretches. Then I put it at the bottom of the door to hook my ankles under for sit-ups or hold onto it for push-ups. This pull-up bar is very easy to both install and take down and install again at a different height. No drilling needed! It even has a built-in level! Great feature! The pads on the supports are very grippy and stay in place while also preventing damage to the woodwork. The thick foam grip on the pull-up bar provides a great non-slip handhold and is resilient enough to keep me from getting callouses. Everything about this bar is excellent quality. I’m very impressed with it and would heartily recommend it! Read more
I've been looking for a pull up bar I could simply use inside my house, but they all were posing too much risk of me crashing down due to the lack of logic in securing stability. This one is very good in that respect. It has two opposing systems to secure the pull up bar stays in place and even with my weight I can securely pull myself up and get the desired workout of my abs and belly. Read more

It looks like nice and strong. However, I live in a Manhattan, NY, apartment, and it did not fit any of the doors to which to attach it. Read more
