I’ve been using the IRONSURGE Pull Up Bar for Hallway or Doorway for a few weeks and really like it. It is easy to set up, really sturdy, and the grip is comfortable. It’s also incredibly versatile for different exercises. They offer a free smaller bar with purchase which was super easy to claim and showed up fast. Now I have two bars! I can’t do a pull up yet and probably won’t for months, but this definitely makes it easier to work toward my goals. Read more
This is much more heavy duty than I expected. I highly recommend watching the video and looking at instructions. It’s easy to mount but the instructions make sure you’re putting it in the right place. The bar comes with a built in level so you can make sure it’s installed evenly. We are using it for our daughter who is very active! She loves it. My husband wants more throughout the hall. Read more
The Ironsurge 37-47” is a very well made, high quality and solid pull-up bar. For extra peace of mind, I placed mine in the hallway, above the trim on 2 doors. I believe if it was installed just on the drywall, according to the instructions provided, that it would also be very secure. It is easy to adjust and, once set in place, it stays in place. The resistance bands and handles are a very nice bonus and they, too, are very high quality. I am not yet able to do pull-ups but I do frequently just hang from the bar, to help decompress my spine which offers relief for a while. I leave the bar in place so that it’s ready whenever I feel the need for a hang. At the time of my purchase, a Free travel size bar was offered as a bonus with the purchase of either the medium or large size bar, making it an exceptional value. I would definitely recommend this bar for anyone wanting a good pull-up bar. Read more
Coming up on three weeks of almost daily use and the product is working flawlessly. I've experienced no slipping, loosening or damage to my walls. The only negative would be the lack of an instruction manual. A manual would have emphasized that the bar lengthens and shortens by turning the bar, and therefore the bar must be locked into place to avoid slippage. I've noted a few reviews pointing out this problem I resorted to YouTube, and the presenter clearly stated that the locks don't matter once the bar is in place. This may be the problem for those revewers. Read more
It is sturdy! I had it up in a wide doorway for over a year and it didn’t budge. But the part about it going in hallways isn’t the best idea so only use it in doorframes. The ends of this bar are a soft plastic that really embedded itself into the wall and would not let go. So it messed up both sides of the paint and drywall pretty bad. You could maybe put some folded parchment paper between the bar-end and the wall? But I would not buy this again because this added quite the project for me to do and pay for. My advice is to get a regular bar with the rubber ends that fits into an actual doorframe. This bar would be too awkward to put in a doorframe. Read more

This is one of the best pull up bars that I've seen and used. Not only is it sturdy and well made, but it also has a built in bubble level to ensure your bar is installed straight - something I have not seen before on any other pull up bar. Read more
