Great quality, fast filtering!
Filters fast, works great! I love this pitcher. I've had a brita in the past, and this one is definitely preferable as it filters faster and doesn't have as much waste, as you aren't required to pour out the first pitcher full. It tastes like filtered water should, and I've used it frequently with no issues. My only complaint is that the old filter is sometimes nearly impossible to twist out in order to replace it with a new one. It locks perfectly, but the suction sometimes does its job too well. Filters just about everything.
This replaced our 10 year old PUR unit that didn't survive a drop to the floor (no surprise). Our water district adds a very noticeable amount of chlorine on a monthly basis and the smell is very strong when they do. There is absolutely no taste of chlorine in the water that has gone through the PUR when this happens. Good size, easy to use
I like that I can fill the filtration tank a couple of times, let it filter until the whole pitcher is full and that lasts me 2-3 days without having to refill it. When first received the light did not work. A call to their help line solved that pleasantly and quickly. Even though the instructions tell you to initially press the button for three seconds — which I did repeatedly with no result — you actually have to hold it down for up to 30 seconds. Problem solved. Water filtering. Light lighting. Happy me. Read more
