I received the fan yesterday. Upon opening the box, I found 1 fan, and 0 remotes. I have gone through all of the packing materials and still did not find the remote. Amazon did not have a way for me to ask for just a remote. I have contacted Honeywell Customer Support to see if they can send me a remote. Awaiting response. If this issue is resolved, I will update my rating. The fan puts out a nice amount of air circulation, however, I most wanted this for my bedroom and only bought this model because it had a remote. Update 5/20/23: Honeywell said this product is packaged and shipped by one of their license companies, Helen of Troy. They gave me the contact information. I have contacted them and am awaiting a resolution. Update 6/6/23: Honeywell sent me a replacement fan with remote at no additional charge. They also sent me a prepaid UPS label to ship the original fan without remote back to them. I completed this step yesterday and received an email from Honeywell today thanking me for following up. This company has been A#1 with their customer service. I will continue to do business with Honeywell. Read more

I had this exact fan before but it was dropped and broken during my recent move. Because the fan itself is the best I've ever used I ordered another, excited to find a used model that was listed as "mint" with a significant price reduction. Last year I bought a used Honeywell space heater through Amazon that was in perfect shape so I felt ok about getting the fan. Dude. When it arrived, this thing was filthy. Dusty. Hair and dust bunnies caught in the spokes (?), front and back. I sprayed it down with Mrs. Meyer's pine scented cleaner but it still smells like a southern cat lady's house, cheap perfume and some kind of flowery litter. I was so grossed out I started cleaning it before I thought to snap a photo. I'll probably never be able to get all the crud out of the inside. What's crazy to me is there was a ton of dust and no fingerprints. It looked like it had been sitting unused for years. Even just a simple wipe down with a damp cloth or even a Swiffer would have gone a long way. The fan itself is a five star product, and thankfully it's working well, so I'm splitting the difference and giving this three stars overall--one for cleanliness, five for quality. But I've learned my lesson--if you're looking at used stuff off Amazon, buyer beware. The company should consider packaging used appliances with PPE gear. Read more
