I've been through several nose hair trimmers and none have made a great impression on me until this one. I have thick facial hair and require a trimmer with power. The main issue I have with most trimmers is that they are underpowered with one AAA battery. Blades won't move fast enough and my thick nose hairs get caught and hurt a lot. This has been a GREAT tool. My fiancé absolutely loves it. We have had it for almost a year and the batteries have never been replaced. It does a fantastic job. My old Remco stopped working and I bought this one. It works very well and cuts nose hair well. It seems to drain the batteries quickly though. I like the square body design which makes it easier to hold. The blades cut smooth. It does not work well trimming my mustache. ( It wasn't advertised to do so but I gave it a try) ****Update**** After one year the nose trimmer went DOA. It just stopped working. I probably used it once a month and at 12 uses it should have lasted longer. I had to change the batteries three times during the year which I found to be strange since it wasn't used much. This time when I went to change the batteries it didn't work. For the poor longevity of this product it gets a one star. Read more

I purchased one of these a year ago and was pleasantly surprised by the sturdy design. Others I have used in the past ended up not cutting thoroughly after a while, and the cutting head would pop off, sometimes mid-trim, and the caps would fall off in my makeup bag exposing the cutting head. This one is much more solid, meaning everything is designed so that the cutting head stays in place and the cap stays on during storage, even after a year of use. It just keeps doing the job, so I ordered another one for a family member. The one I purchased a year ago was about $45, so the price has come down and is very reasonable for a product that will last. I highly recommend. Read more
