I took a chance on this matcha since it was cheaper, but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The flavor was very bland with a noticeably bitter aftertaste, making it unpleasant to drink. The color was a dull yellow-green, which is a clear sign of lower quality matcha. High-quality matcha should be vibrant green and smooth in taste—this was neither. I wouldn’t recommend this product. It’s worth spending a few extra dollars for a much better matcha experience. Read more
It was excellent matcha quality. Read more
This matcha powder is okay for casual use, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations for a high-grade Japanese matcha. The flavor is smooth and low in bitterness, which makes it easy to drink, especially for beginners. It works well in lattes and mixes fine with both water and milk. However, the color is noticeably duller than fresher ceremonial-grade matchas, and it doesn’t froth up very well when whisked. The aroma also felt a bit muted, which made the whole experience less vibrant than I hoped. It’s not bad, just underwhelming if you’ve had brighter, more aromatic matcha before. The size of the pouch (50g) is a good value, especially if you're using matcha daily or in smoothies, but if you're looking for that rich, traditional matcha experience, this might not hit the mark. Pros: ✔️ Low bitterness, beginner-friendly flavor ✔️ Decent quantity for the price ✔️ Mixes easily with water or milk Cons: ❌ Dull color and weak aroma ❌ Doesn’t whisk into much foam ❌ Lacks freshness and depth Read more
The first thing I noticed about this matcha powder is that the color isn’t as vibrant as some of the higher grade ceremonial matchas I’ve tried. It leans more toward a duller green, which usually signals it’s not the very top quality, and it gives the impression of being more of a culinary grade than premium ceremonial. it’s still a decent matcha that works well for daily drinking, lattes, and even baking. The taste is mild with less bitterness than many lower priced matchas, and it blends pretty easily into hot water or milk without clumping too much. For the price and the amount you get, it’s a fair value if you’re looking for an everyday option rather than a luxury one. It’s good enough for casual use. Read more
