This neck and shoulder pad works really well for easing tension and stress. I use it for the hard to reach area between my shoulder blades that my foam roller does nothing for and it feels comfortable on the neck and shoulders. The size is just right, and the material feels soft and durable. overall it’s a great product for the price and very soothing after a long day. I use mine on the carpet and hard wood floor and I don’t have a problem getting a nice pressure point release for my neck and my upper back it’s great. As someone who sees the chiropractor 6-8 times a month I recommend this for regular at home comfort of tight upper shoulders and back. Just do it you won’t regret it. The size is perfect on your upper back to get those knots that hide between the shoulder blades. Read more
When I’m using it, it feels like nothing is happening. But when I get up from using it, I can feel a major difference!! it’s hard to tell if you get it in the right spot on your neck, but I do feel like it hits the trigger points needed. This with massaging, I truly noticed a difference in my pain level Read more
A good product for my recent issues with my jaw and neck. Instant release for long term relief. Read more
I have TMJ disorder, occasional migraine, and vertigo/headaches. I use this rigorously intensely several times a day targeting my C1 - C2 spine and the pressure points/knots deep in the area where my TMJ & base of skull & top of neck meet (just got to find that right spot & angle for you could be different for everyone.) It has SIGNIFICANTLY lessened frequency/intensity and improved all of the conditions I have mentioned. I rarely write reviews but I would highly reccomend this to anyone else suffering from cervicogenic headaches. Read more
People are correct, this is very solid and they shouldn't have called it a pillow. If you want comfy get a bed pillow that supports your neck. This tractions your neck which isn't comfortable at all. But it works. I can't break my habit of hunching over my desk and peering up at my monitor. I finally connected it with my poor posture: I'd stand up from my desk but my position stayed the same. Which didn't just add strain, hunching over made me look as if I had osteoporosis and 15 years older. Plus my tush stuck out. Both verified by friends. Still, working on my back twice a day I only use this once: it can hurt. The other one I use is one of those wave-shaped things. They're still uncomfortable but not as much as this one. A note about use: this works with your own weight providing the pressure. I lie on my bed shifting around until this feels like it's in the correct place. The I consciously work to relax the muscles instead of fighting it. Lying on your bed for about 10 minutes is really, really boring but if you're paying attention to something else you stop paying attention to those muscles. Read more
This was recommended by my chiropractor. It immediately caused a headache and I couldn't find a comfortable spot, but I decided to give it a chance in hopes it would relieve stress. I started out slowly (5 minutes). On day ten, I upped it to 6 minutes. When I was done, I was in so much pain because my back was in a huge spasm down the entire left side of my spine. This is something that has never happened to me before. It left me in such pain that I couldn't get up off the floor. I am physically fit and have NEVER had problems getting up from the floor. I laid on my back for 30+ minutes until the pain subsided and I was able to get up. What an absolute waste of money!!!!!!! Update: The seller, Purity Life offered me a full refund. My chiropractor said the Occipital Release Tool provided great relief for many of his patients, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. Kudos (and 5-Stars) to Purity Life for their quick response! What I bought this for: I purchased this occipital release tool hoping to relieve neck tension, improve spinal alignment, and help with TMJ-related discomfort. I used it as directed, lying back on it for a few minutes at a time. First impressions: The product is well-made, and I appreciated that it’s FSA/HSA eligible. The design seemed promising — simple, supportive, and targeted. Performance & Experience: The first session actually felt pretty good — I noticed some tension relief in my neck and shoulders. But by day two or three, it started to feel too hard and uncomfortable, and the pressure points didn’t hit the same. Instead of relief, I felt more soreness after using it. I gave it a few more tries but ended up having to return it. Pros: • High-quality material • May work well for certain body types or tension spots • Eligible for FSA/HSA use Cons: • Too firm for me — became painful • Relief didn’t last beyond the first use • Not adjustable or flexible for different neck shapes Would I recommend it? It didn’t work for me, but it might work for others with different neck tension patterns. Definitely try it on a soft surface and don’t overuse it. Thankfully, returns were easy. Tips for Buyers: Try it on your bed first before moving to a hard floor If you have a sensitive neck or TMJ flare-ups, use with caution Read more
