An excellent probiotic for cats, especially those with sensitive digestion. I give it to my cats regularly — their stomachs stay calm, and they feel great with this supplement. Another big plus is that it can be mixed with wet food or pâté. Even if a cat has a poor appetite, with FortiFlora they eat willingly, which makes it easy to give them healthy, nutritious food. The powder blends well with food, has a taste cats enjoy, and truly works as intended. A trustworthy and effective product that deserves five stars. Read more

EDIT: My foster tabby moved on to his permanent home, but I now have another permanent resident, the abandoned cat who literally found me. My new black cat, Malcolm (see pic). Malcolm seemed healthy, but after shots, Nexgard Combo (new amazing topical that takes care of internal and external parasites, including worms, ear mites, fleas), being neutered, his digestive tract was a bit off. His stools firmed up within about a week. Malcolm was about three years old (according to vet) when I adopted him, so I gave him a full packet, half in his morning wet food, half in evening wet food. I have now used this very successfully for two different cats with different digestive issues and it works, not inexpensive, but well worth it to put feline tummies at ease. ____________________________________________________ From the first day the foster mom brought me Harry, he had tummy troubles. Loose stool, blood in stool, so off he went to the vet. He got a couple of meds I had to give him with a syringe (NO parasites, vet gave meds basically to CALM any inflammation, soothe tummy). Days after finishing meds, basically more of the same, but no blood. Just loose stools. The lady that is head of the rescue I got him from suggested this product. It's been about a week and now almost totally normal stools! It was better after about four or five days, now no more piles of poo! I thought it would be difficult getting him to eat it as I just sprinkle on wet canned food. NOPE, HE LIKES IT! A LOT! I started out just giving him half a packet because he's just about six pounds, to see how he would do on it. After about 3-4 days, I started giving him a whole packet, half on wet food he got in the morning, half on wet food in evening. Only con is I wish wasn't so expensive! BUT it's working where the prescription meds didn't. SO IF YOU HAVE a SMALL kitten or cat, you may want to START with half. I use a clippie to just fold over the top and give him the rest the next day. HOPING after the 30 packets are gone, I won't have to keep using, but if that's what it takes, I would keep him on it. Hope he outgrows what seems like kitty irritable bowel syndrome. Read more

My recently adopted cat had horrible breath not due to bad teeth. The vet recommended Flora Forta as bad breath may be caused by digestion issues. It’s working great and my cat loves the taste! Read more

Our cat had treatment for worms and Giardia. (He is a neighborhood cat we took in,) The dreadful runny diarrhea just kept right on after the medicines had all been given. First I bought a months supply of the probiotic powder from a local pet store. Then I ordered a second month’s worth from Amazon. It totally cured his diarrhea. Of course we had him retested to be sure all parasites were gone. But his gut was still in an uproar. Giardia is the pits!! But our sweet cat is well. Read more

My cat had diarrhea for over a week because I changed his food-I think. He’s an inside only cat and up to date on all vaccines and deworming. Poor boy!! This stuff is amazing and he is doing so good, diarrhea about gone and he’s feeling great. All within 4-5 days. He’s always had a bit of a sensitive stomach. Definitely need to store this where the cat can’t get to it. My cat got into the box and chewed into a packet and got it all over the counter… he’s a bit of a messer. Lesson learned. Read more

The vet sold this to me the first time. I have a cat who will have bouts of diarrhea at times, I will give the probiotics for a few days and it clears right up. The big plus is he tries to eat it as I am putting it on his food. So no worries about my cat not getting them. He ends up eating all his cat food when that is poured onto it. Read more

This certainly helps my 18 year old male kitty who has always had a sensitive stomach with vomiting and recently started having diarrhea issues. Both issues have reduced in frequency with using this product. I sprinkle one package over his wet canned food and mix it together. He enjoys the taste of this too, which is extremely important.
