I have cats and get a lot of dust in the house as it is an older home on a hill where everything seems to come in. I used to see in the sunlight dust and hair floating in the air, not any more. I bought it during fire season when the smoke was so bad, I couldn't see even a block away. It really helped my allergies too. This one is in my living room and I keep it on auto, it is so quiet I don't hear it unless it kicks up when it finds something it needs to clean out fast, it even picks up smoke and smells from the kitchen, even then it doesn't bother me. I clean the hair off of the outer filter at least once a week and vacuum out the whole filter every couple of weeks or so to get as much use out of each filter. Now I need to purchase one for the bedroom area. The cover over 500 sq ft and my house is 1200 so 2 should do for the majority of the house. I have another brand in the office where one of my small older cats spends a lot of time to get away from the other kitties, so the door is closed always. It is much louder but works well. I have asthma and I was having problems breathing last summer because of the forest fires in Colorado. We live in Colorado, but we also got smoke from New Mexico and Utah. Even people without asthma were suffering. I did a lot of research on air purifiers and found the PurO2xygen air purifier fit our budget. I was pleased with their quality and their performance. The purifier has a nice display at the top that shows a colored circle and a numerical readout that corresponds to the air quality. We purchase two units and found it reduced the smoke and particulate pollution from a red (worst air purity reading) to a yellow, to a blue and finally to a green (best air purity reading) in a very reasonable time. We noticed how quickly it worked when we accidently burned something in our oven and triggered the fire alarm. The purifiers had already indicated a change in the air before we could smell it and before the fire alarm was triggered. Again the purifiers brought the air quality back to a level that was breathable in a surprisingly short period of time. The purifier have the capacity to move air quickly through them using the fans top speed. At night we use the sleep mode, which is the slowest and quietest speed and the led display is blacked out. This is perfect for sleeping. In summary, I am very pleased with their performance and certainly have no qualms about recommending them to others. Read more
i really like the digital display of the air quality. when i first plugged it in it showed my air quality was good so of course i thought it was defective. i ended up smoking a cigarette next to it and it shot up from 20 to 178, within about 20 min the air quality was back down to 12. i would probably give it 5 starts except it is noisier than i was led to believe but i do have it situated only a few feet from where i sit and it is not an irritating noise. when it is on auto level it is very quiet Read more

The media could not be loaded. Update: So we heard back from the company and after several attempts at troubleshooting the air purifier, they are now replacing it with a new one. I have to say we were very pleased with their responses, help, etc. We were fully anticipating that we would have to eat our losses on this one, but thankfully, there are still companies out there who strive to provide good customer service and this is one of them. Although our original unit didn't make it to a year, we are glad they are sending us a new one and will keep you posted as to how it goes with this replacement! We purchased this air purifier on November 3, 2024. To date, it has done exactly what the manufacturer said it would do. It can get a little loud if the air quality changes enough that it needs to clean the air, but overall it's not horrible, and you can easily adjust the fan level if necessary. We tend to just leave it and let it do what it was made to do. You do need to remove the filter and vacuum any dust off of it periodically, which we have done. You will know when you need to change the filter, because a light will come on, indicating it is time. The filter change is very easy and compared to filters you purchase for say humidifiers, the cost of their filters isn't terribly expensive. Things have been working fine until this week, and now our PM numbers are way over the normal limit and the indicator light stays red. No indication that the filter needed to be changed. We unplugged it, vacuumed the filter per usual, placed the filter back in, removed the side sensor cover and cleaned it per instructions, plugged it back in and same results. I had a new filter on the ready, so we thought let's replace the filter to see if that would resolve the issue. Same result. There is some sort of new odor, which smells more mechanical, almost like an overheating smell?? Reached out to the manufacturer to ask what is happening, and we are hoping for a response. There is nothing to dislike about this product. Our smoking lounge is in our 3 car garage so we needed an air purifier that handles 600 sq ft. This unit purifies beautifully plus it has a UV light that kills germs. It has six filters which is unheard of. Operates on 45W. If you use on sleep mode. it is very quiet. For the price, you cannot go wrong. The only thing about the remote control is, we had product shipped in cold weather and the remote control didn't work so I placed it in the house to warm up and it worked. The brochure talks about the one filter that can be removed and washed is blue. Ours is white. You can buy the six filter replacement on Amazon at $30. Update, using 3 months, I am completely satisfied. Have not had to clean or replace filters. From small rooms to large this unit is for you. Read more
