Its hypoallergenic feature ensures a clean, irritant-free sleep, while the 6” height caters well to both side and back sleepers. The first few nights were nothing short of comfy, with the pillow maintaining its loftiness and providing the right amount of support. However, as days rolled by, the pillow seemed to lose its loft, flattening considerably which, in turn, affected the level of support it offered. The initial fluffiness gave way to a rather flat feel, quite contrary to what the name suggests. Although it didn’t require much fluffing initially, it started to crave some lift which unfortunately, a good fluff couldn’t restore. Despite its easy-care nature and affordability, the diminished support over time was a letdown. If the resilience in maintaining its shape and support was enhanced, this pillow could indeed be a dreamy cloud for your slumber. I bought this Purple Cloud Pillow on Black Friday as a gift for my son-in-law, and he absolutely loves it. It’s soft and plush but still supportive, and it holds its shape really well without going flat. As a side sleeper who sometimes wakes up on their back, I have a hard time finding a good pillow. No pillow is perfect and each person has their own preferences. For me the challenge is finding a pillow with loft, support, and that is soft. Most pillows I try are either too firm or my head sinks through the pillow to the mattress due to the displacement of the filling. I really like this Purple Cloud pillow. It has good loft that does not overly compress or displace while sleeping. The support is just enough to not cause neck pain, and the filling is just soft enough not to put too much pressure on my head. I would call the sleep temperature “neutral”. It is not “cooling” but with the cotton cover it is less “hot” than other foam filled pillows I have tried. In the morning you can easily fluff the pillow to regain the loft. As a plus, the pillow is fully washable. If you find most pillows either too firm or too soft you may want to give this pillow a try for the trial period. Read more
