I have large calves. So it's nearly impossible for me to find boots that I can wear. When i ordering these I was expecting them to be the same way. I'd get them half way zipped and have to give up. I was so happy when these went up. Granted it wasn't easy. I did have to squeeze quite a bit, and when I added socks or leggings it was even more of a squeeze, but that means if I get a boot stretcher I could streth these just a little to be the right fit. They are really good material. Very plush leather like that feels great against my calves. It's nice and comforatble and looks great. Where it looses a star is the comfort in the feet. Unfortunately there isn't much of any. They actually seem like the soles are a little too small for the boot because I can feel the edge of the sole on my feet, but my feet fit loose in the shoe. I'm sure this will be easily fixable with some nicer replacement ones. I will add that they do fit true to size. These are great boots. Read more

These boots are made with great quality leather. Its good thick leather that seems like they will last for years instead of just 1 season. They fit perfect and are so comfortable i can wear them all day unlike other boots i have. They are super easy to clean if you get mud or something on them just get a damp rag wipe it off and dry it with a paper towel and they look good as new. They look amazing with jeans or a dress and can be worn to work or a night out on the town. They would also make a amazing gift for any woman that loves boots. These Boots are generally comfortable and they are well made. A couple of things of note, there are finger loops on both sides to help pull the boot on and they are attached really securely. There is also a full zipper that goes from the heel all the way up the back of the boots. I wish I had sized up a half a size so I could have added an insole. There is very little padding in these boots and after wearing them for about 6 hours my arch was hurting really bad. I was wearing them with thicker wool socks so I probably be able to get away with using thinner socks and adding an insole. That might work out well because the boots have an inner foam lining on the shaft that would help keep my legs warm in winter. I am 5 foot 6 and the boots come to just under my knees. The top of the food is a little bit brighter than I would like but not so much that it looks sloppy. It is snug zipping over my heel and I had to be very careful not to catch my socks. The design of the boot is really pretty with extra detailing around the heel, additional side stitching, and a front seam. There are many positive qualities to these boots. The faux leather is soft, attractive, and seems durable. The heels and soles are well made and visually appealing. Inside, the boots are lined with a foamy material that adds noticeable comfort by providing warmth and cushioning. The full-length zipper down the back looks stylish and opens and closes smoothly, and the pull tabs make it easy to get the boots on. My only complaint is the width of the upper shaft. These are clearly wide-calf boots, which doesn’t work as well for me since I have skinny calves. As a result, they don’t look as flattering as they could, and the extra space allows cold air to get in - somewhat defeating the purpose of wearing boots in cooler weather. While they’re still wearable with leggings or jeans, the loose fit at the top is disappointing in both appearance and function. These boots are great for thick calf girls! They zipped up without a struggle and felt snug in a good way, not tight or uncomfortable. That said, because they’re fitted, I couldn’t really wear them over jeans, leggings or tights work best. The quality feels decent for the price and they’re not bulky at all, which I really appreciate. I actually think the style is cute. I can understand why some people mention the mix of a riding-boot look with a zipper being a little different, but honestly, for big calf girls, the zipper is needed!! My only real downside is the color. The brown pulls more orangey/warm than I expected, and I wish it were a bit more neutral. These are okay. They look like pleather. That said, they are pretty well constructed. I like that the zipper goes all the way down the back, making them easy to get on and off. My actual shoe size is 10.5W, but that's tough to find so I size up to 11. These fit my legs pretty well. I have moderately large calves, and they fit my calves. If you have large calves, they probably won't fit. I would say these run a true size 11. I find them comfortable. I like the the upper few inches of the lining is a nude pleather, making it resemble real leather. Below that is a soft fabric liner. I'm on fence about the value of these. Read more
