For the price, they're great. I got 2. They fit on both of my kids' extra thicccc pillow top twin mattresses with no problem. They've got super stretchy side fabric and extremely deep pockets. I wouldn't put this on extremely thin mattresses unless you don't mind tucking in a ton of extra fabric cause it's made big enough for extra thicccck mattresses, but on thick ones like ours it stays in place if it's put on and the edges are all pulled under tightly. Regular fitted sheets tend to slip off due to the thickness of the mattress, but deep pocket sheets stay in place with this on the bed. There is a slight sound when laying, sitting or moving on the bed, but it's not as bad as some others we have had in the past. The top is like terricloth or washcloth fabric but not super scratchy, and the back is coated with a thin soft/pliable almost shipping bag type feeling plastic material but softer and not as crinkly sounding. If under a sheet it isn't extremely noticeable-sounding or feeling. It kind of feels and sounds like some hotel beds that use similar mattress covers. Not bad and my kids and I have sensory issues (we are highly sensitive to certain sounds, smells, and/or touch/physical feel). I have not tested whether it's waterproof or resistant yet but that's not the reason I wanted them. I maybe should've done that before they went on the beds, but they're mainly to keep the mattresses clean because both of my kids are rough sleepers. They each have their sheets half ripped off every morning from moving around so much while sleeping. Their mattresses take a beating because of it. This product has been great. My kids have nosebleeds randomly at night so this has saved my mattresses many times. I was afraid it would be crinkly sounding because it is waterproof but honestly I forget it’s on at all because it’s so quiet. There was no smell when I first got it but I wash them anyway. My kids sweat at night and this has helped them stay cool. It stays on the mattress well and overall I think it is great. Read more

Overall 5 stars for the product itself. But it is a bit of a pain in the arse to wash. When washing due to the water proof lining it had to go through the spun cycle 2 or 3 times to try and get the water all out. But still came out sopping soaked wet. So in the end I had to wringe it out by hand before putting it into the dryer. The pros are it's definitely water proof and keeps your mattress from getting any damage.
