I am a "rag doll" sleeper. That's the sole purpose of this purchase. I can't sleep on my body parts twisted in some painful contortions and bounce back from the pain any longer. (Cue the violins, right? lol) Since I can't train my body to not "rag doll" sleep, I needed to protect myself from myself. Let me tell you... I'm thrilled with this product. I love the adjustment bungees. I was concerned the opposing way the bungee straps work with each other would be an issue. How can you tighten this thing without jarring the joint? It shouldn't be possible but minimal jostling is what they provided. I LOVE the fact that I can change the angle in which the bungees are placed. It surprised me that the thumb hole genuinely has ample room and is placed in an ergonomic angle. This is a rare brace that provides that. I tend to run into ones where it's snug and pinches and angles the thumb in a weird, and usually painful, way. Kudos on the "modesty panel". (Shout out to my fellow corset wearers!) That additional thick layer underneath the bungees is sheer perfection. I never have to worry about pinching. Even without the rigid structure of the steel rod, the level of support did not change. Durable: I've machine washed and dried this brace a half of a dozen, or so, times. The elasticity is still tight and the "hook & loop" fasteners are holding up. I found this to be a pretty good wrist brace, I tried 3 and this was the clear winner. It even works at the gym. I ordered a second one because the first was getting gnarly and I cannot not wear it long enough for it to dry, and the second one was noticeably smaller than the first. It still fits. Maybe it is supposed to be like this and the other one was too big. Either way, I looked at the tag on the first and they are supposed to be the same size. Decidedly not. That is why I knocked off a star. Otherwise I have found it to be very functional and I obviously would buy again and would recommend to a friend. I like the slips it comes with, to keep it a little cleaner, they hand wash very easily and dry quickly. Read more

Needed a wrist brace after the cast was removed. I have a pretty serious latex allergy. All the ones the Dr had had contained latex. Turned to Amazon and searched specifically for Latex free. This item came up saying latex free in the headline. Ordered. It had 3 cotton liners. Wore once without liner and had reaction. Checked the tiny manual. There it was. Last “ingredient” was rubber!!
