Don't tell my wife!
I was cold, but now I'm in heat. Don't tell my wife because when our dog was in heat, she took her to the vet and got her fixed! Sorry... Sorry for the horrible dad joke. Seriously though, I'm legitimately surprised at how much heat this little thing can put out. The heater I mean, not our dog, although she is a hot dog - no bun intended. Aww that was even worse. I'm sorry again, I'll show myself out, or at least behave from here on out. I have a heater that's easily more than twice as big as this one, and it doesn't heat this well. This one takes practically no time at all to go from off to hot. The fan does a great job of moving the heat. You can also use just the fan to help cool things down, and while it does a respectable job of that too for the type of fan it is, it's not as good for that as a regular desk fan that you can adjust the angle of, etc. but it really shines as a heater. There's a safety switch on the bottom that will cut the power to the unit if it isn't flat on the floor, so you don't have to worry about it hurting anything if you trip over it or if a child or pet knocks it over. It has a thermostat setting that you can use to control when you want it to come on. You can't tell what specific temperature you're setting it to, because it's just a dial that basically shows lower to higher and not specific temperatures. There's also a dial to control fan speed. It puts out a good amount of air too, and even on its fastest speed, it's still pretty darn quiet. It's easy to operate, looks nice and works great. This is a solid choice for a quality heater at a bargain price! Read more
