However, in larger spaces (like my open-plan living area), it struggles to make much of a dent unless the outdoor temperature is only moderately cold. Safety Features Overheat protection worked as promised—even when I accidentally left it on in a drafty room for hours, it shut off and reset once the internal temp stabilized.
