I was quite impressed by the functionality of this compact and portable Kissair space heater. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how much heat it would put out or if it would make a difference in my office. Our office stays cold, and even though I wear layers, that is often not enough. This unit has performed well. The box included the heater, a remote control, and instructions. The remote did not include batteries. It was packaged well and easy to unpack and set up. The controls on the top are aesthetically pleasing and easy to see to operate if you are not using the remote. The remote is a nice addition because I don’t have to bend over to change temperature or to turn it off or on. Even though I’m careful to unplug sources of heating at the end of the day, the unit has several safety features that I appreciate. The heater has an adjustable thermostat which will shut off automatically for energy efficiency. It has tip over protection, which is a big deal because I do keep it under my desk. It has overheat protection and a safety plug and the manual states all components are ETL certified. The instructions included information on the child lock feature, which I do not need. Recently, my husband noticed my personal space heater, and now it spends time under his desk as well. I would be very comfortable purchasing a second unit from Kissair. Read more

This little heater packs a lot of heat in a tiny little space! It heats up very quickly too. Like, instantly. It has a tip over safety feature so if it gets knocked over, it will turn itself off. It comes with a little handle on the back to carry it, and a remote control. I thought the remote might fit into that handle to store it while not in use, but no such luck. Also, the remote looks a little cheap, but the rest of it looks pretty high quality. The remote uses two AAA batteries and works well from a pretty good distance. If the heater is on a shelf or something where you can't see the top of the heater, you'll need to point the remote straight up instead of directly at the heater to make it work, but it still works. The only thing that would make this better is if it oscillated, but I would probably keep that feature off most of the time anyway since the point of a little heater like this is to direct heat at a particular spot, and not try to heat an entire house or anything. Having said that though, I feel like it could heat a small room pretty well. You can use the fan function without the heat, and you will feel the air from it, but it's not as good at that as a small fan would be if you're thinking of using it in the summer also. It's real job is to be a heater, and it does that really well! I also like the thermostat feature so you can set the temperature that you want to keep and it will turn on and off as needed to keep it. This is far superior to those heaters that only have settings like low medium and high. It does not remember your last setting, so every time you turn it on it will be set to 73° I'm very happy with this little heater, and grateful to have it. ​This is a fantastic little personal space heater, perfectly suited for keeping my feet and lower body warm while working under my desk. Its compact size is genuinely impressive—it tucks away neatly and is barely noticeable until you need it. The build quality feels solid and reliable, and the automatic tip-over shut-off is a crucial safety feature that gives great peace of mind. ​The remote control is a huge convenience, allowing me to adjust the fan speed and temperature without having to reach under the desk, which is a major win for productivity. The minimal noise level is also excellent; it’s just loud enough to let you know it’s running without being distracting or bothersome. ​The reason I'm docking one star is the core operational feature: the automatic temperature cycling. Even on its highest setting, the unit will constantly shut off once the surrounding air temperature meets the thermostat target, and then turn back on when it drops. While this is efficient and safe, it gets frustrating when my feet are chilly and I need continuous, steady warmth. To keep it running long enough to truly warm up, I have to set the temperature far higher than necessary. ​I wish there were a simple override or a designated low-speed setting that allowed the heater to run continuously, regardless of the thermostat, for those moments when you just need consistent background heat. If that feature were added, this would easily be a five-star product. As it stands, it’s still highly recommended for personal, close-range heating needs. Read more
