Best Investment Ever

Tifani Tobeyβ€”September 27, 2025

The media could not be loaded. My dog (border collie blue heeler mix) has had this ball for over a year now. I am really surprised it has not popped yet. I highly recommend this for any hyperactive dogs, it’s such good stimulation and great to tire them out. I will say, some of the bad reviews I saw I think was because people were getting to small of a ball. I recommend getting one that is BIGGER than your dog. This makes sure that they can’t get their mouth fully around it to bite it. The fabric cover did rip a little bit but nothing that has really affected the overall quality. Best investment I have ever made for my dog, it’s super easy to just put it out in my yard and let him go crazy. Definitely his favorite toy Read more

My dogs love this ball! It's not just a regular ball!

Angieβ€”March 8, 2025

This seems like your typical gym ball in a sleeve, it's not. I must admit I had some trouble aligning the balls pump hole with the zipper in the sleeve but once i got it- blow up the ball a little bit and then put it in the cover and finish it off. After using that method, it was awesome! The ball is a little heavy, i have some issue picking up and throwing but it is perfect for my australian cattle and siberian husky. The husky prefers to stay outside with it, and focuses his time on the zipper. However this ball has a 2 zipper method, he never comes even close! We've had ours since December, it's now March. It stays outside in winter and though at times it seemed like it lost it's air- on warmer days it's back to full. So far this ball has traveled more than me- it's landed on a bush of thorns, got pushed over a garden fence down a hill of broken dormant bamboo stalks, my male drags it- by any part he can pinch his teeth on and ends up going in a circle but still- my point is it's a very sturdy, strong cover and made for dogs, horses, bigger animals to play, and boy do mine enjoy it! I can still bounce it on the grass, in the cover and the noise gets my dogs attention, from there, I kick it up a hill and he runs like crazy to catch it before it comes back to me. What makes me even happier- he plays with on his own as well. All by himself, he learned. So it is possible for your dog to teach himself to stay occupied! The possibilities are endless. I once watched him push the ball along the fence line back and forth for a good hour. He pushes it with his nose, sometimes he tries to jump up on it, and will roll it little by little with his paws. My female pushes with her nose and if she's trying to stop it she'll put her butt in line with it and it stops by tapping her butt. As you can see there are multiple functionalities, endless possibilities, and highly recommended! I also want to point out, since I've closed mine, I haven't had to open it back up for anything. Not to fill it again, not to adress anything, once i put it outside it hasnt cpme back in. It's been in the snow, it sat on the pool after the pool was taken down and covered, and there are no water stains like you'd think. The cover feels like that thick car heart duck material- though i knos its not, thats what it feels like to me. And yes I know that's spelled wrong ;) Read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

aussieloverβ€”March 12, 2025

My husband and I blew up the ball for 30 minutes but the cover was still not snug on the ball. The ball was awesome and my Australian Shepherd loved it! He was chasing it around, but of course biting the loose cover and tore it right away. It took the cover off when I saw he was eating it. Did not want to have to take him to the ER after already losing $74 on this ball. Of course he popped the ball right away. We had it for less than 24 hours. I thought I would reach out to Race and Herd instead of returning on Amazon. I had to email as you can never find a phone number and actually speak with a person. I exchanged a few emails with them. They responded with. "We have checked your order. :) You cannot give your dog the herding ball without the cover or not fully inflating it. This information is clearly written on our product listing, packaging, and instruction manual. Proper inflation is essential for both the ball's performance and your dog's safety. As a goodwill gesture, we would be happy to send you a replacement inner ball. Please provide your shipping address so we can arrange this right away. If you have any other questions about proper usage or inflation techniques, please don't hesitate to ask. Best regards, Ethan Customer Service Team" I responded that it is useless because I don't have the ball and that the ball would not inflate to full capacity. I have emailed Ethan three times asking if I could have a replacement and he has ghosted me. I have my own business and could never ignore a customer! Really unbelievable. I went onto Amazon to get a new one or a credit but you need to return it to the company. I threw it away because it is very big after being taken out of the box and I could not put it back in the box it came in. THE BALL WAS DEFECTIVE AND I SHOUD BE REFUNDED OR SENT A NEW ONE AS A GOODWILL GESTURE. Read more
