I wish I had listened to some of the negative reviews - these are unusable and a waste. The floss is very thick so it's hard to get in between my teeth, but even in some of the less tight spaces it just gets shredded. There are some spaces the thread can't even fit. I bought these because they were home compostable but they are really flimsy, and the packaging is still plastic which doesn't make sense to me for a supposedly eco friendly product. I truly love these floss sticks. It has been hard to find a floss that isn’t made of a nylon string (plastic). I am happy that these are cotton and silk. They do tend to break more easily and are thicker than traditional floss sticks because they are made of cotton and silk. Not plastic. They are fully compostable, so if I have to go through 2 when I floss I’m fine with it, because I’m not depositing microplastics into my gum line. Read more
I really wanted to love these because I had high hopes for them. The idea is great and they’re super convenient to grab and use. Unfortunately, the quality just isn’t there for me. By the time I get to my fourth or fifth tooth, the floss starts to fray and then snaps. To fully floss my teeth, I usually end up going through two or three of them, which kind of defeats the purpose of using a quick, easy pick. kept looking for the best floss that did not have added coatings anything that could be unhealthy such as Xylitol, toxic to dogs, can cause issues such as Bloating, high levels linked to worse. This is a natural floss that is strong. I looked online and they have made the thread much stronger now. I have had no issues with it breaking or tearing when it shouldn’t. Arrives in the same bag shown in the listing. These picks have a similar shape to other picks, so shouldn't be any issues with handling it and using the hard end pick. The floss part is thicker then usual and a little softer that will either cause the floss to fall apart, hard to get in between or hard to get out. Worst case scenario if it gets stuck, will need a mini scissor to cut the string. If you have fillings that could catch on this thicker floss, then this isn't for you. Read more
