Have had this chair for about 6 weeks now and have been really happy with it. Came with easy to setup instructions and am impressed with the quality of the parts. Base is metal and rollers are better than my old Sealy Executive chair that cost more. It is a good looking chair and feels sturdy. I've been searching for a long time to replace my old mesh chair from Office Max. The ones with the "X-cross" mesh fabric that's very breathable, but sadly discontinued by everyone years ago. THIS is the absolute closest match and so glad I found it. I like this one even better than the Office Max chair. This was the 3rd chair I ordered the past couple of months, and the 3rd try was indeed the charm! Despite hesitations, I first tried a "gaming chair." Absolutely awful! Impossible to get comfortable in any position and the adjustments were terrible to work with. 2nd try, was a "mesh" office chair with a reasonably comfortable seat, but the back was terrible and the gas lift, wouldn't stay up. This is the winner by far of any PC chair I've ever sat in. Comfortable for any activity be it gaming, office work, or just hanging out with friends talking/watching media. Making it a fully multi-functional chair! It adjusts very easily whether you need a certain height, locking in a tilt, or allowing it to be the smoothest rocking chair ever. The base is extremely sturdy with wheels that roll well. All materials are top quality with specifically listed "class 4 gas cylinder." So many companies refuse to even list what class cylinder they're even using. The ones that do, often use a class 3, while very few provide a class 4. The media could not be loaded. This chair was a Christmas gift for my dad to replace his old one, which was definitely on its last leg, and he was thrilled with it. One of the best features is the flip-up armrests, which allow the chair to tuck neatly under a desk, saving space—great for lower desks where fixed armrests might get in the way. The overall build quality is impressive. The metal base might look small, but it’s surprisingly heavy-duty, providing excellent stability without being overly bulky. Unlike some chairs with wide bases that get caught on everything, this one moves smoothly and doesn’t feel like a tripping hazard. At first, I got this thinking my dad would love the deep recline for kicking back and taking a nap, but I was wrong—turns out, he prefers more resistance. Luckily, the tilt tension adjustment was a great surprise, letting him fine-tune it to his liking, so he can lean back or keep it more upright. The fabric looks thinner in photos, but in person, it’s a tight-knit weave that feels durable, and the padding holds its shape really well. Another thing my dad really liked was the higher backrest, which supports the head better than his old chair that only reached the base of his skull. So this was actually the second chair that I bought. This one rocks back and forth and is perfect for anyone under about 250lbs. I weigh 230ish. The rocking feature is why I bought it. Great for gaming on a projector, you can just lean back. It is cloth and comfortable and not fake leather that peels. The height is good I'm 5-11'' barefoot. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and the tools where included. The back support is ergonomic and contours correctly. I'm happy! Read more

I bought this chair to replace an aging bonded leather chair that was starting to shed. I wanted something fabric this time to avoid the shedding, so I gave this one a try. It's an okay chair. Pros 1. Easy enough to put together. Just follow the instructions and take your time, and don't fully tighten any of the seat and armrest screws until everything is in place. They included a surprisingly nice allen wrench with it that made things much easier. 2. Decently comfortable. Not the most comfortable chair I've ever owned (and the foam is firm out of the box), but I can sit here for a while and not feel bad about it. 3. I really wanted a chair with flip-up arms so I can bring a bass or guitar to my computer and practice at my desk. This chair has that, and the arms aren't in my way at all when I have an instrument sitting with me. 4. Feels decently sturdy. Once everything was put together and tightened up, I don't notice any unusual wobbles or creaks in it. That'll change over time since it's a "everything is held together by the arm rests" type of chair, and they do get loose over time, but tightening it should fix it. Neutral points: 1. The base comes in segments instead of one piece. It should be fine, but seems weird that it wasn't all one piece. 2. This chair is advertised as "big and tall", but my 5'10", 220lb body pretty much fills it. It's a normal computer chair, not a big and tall one. I'm fine because I fit in it pretty well, but if you're 6 feet and change and over 250 lbs, you'll want to find a bigger chair. 3. The packaging that holds the screws was open in my box. All the pieces were accounted for but I had to empty them out of the box. Cons 1. The fabric doesn't breathe particularly well. It's probably done this way for durability, but I do wish it breathed better. It has a denim-wool-ish feel to it and while it's not particularly itchy, it's not really soft either. 2. It seems to have a penchant for trapping body heat. It'll be nice in the winter or for skinny people, but in the summer and for heavier people, it's noticeable, especially on the rear end area. I find myself wanting to reposition myself fairly frequently to alleviate the warmth. I've had bonded leather chairs that stayed cooler than this. Overall, this chair is decent. It won't blow your mind and it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it works and seems to be sturdy enough. I think 3 out of 5 stars is fair here. For me, the chair loses points for its material choice, since it's not the most comfortable material in the world, and for the lack of breathability. The whole point of going with fabric is to let it breathe and dissipate heat. But, in terms of stability and all that, it's a reasonably decent office chair. There is a high likelihood that I return the chair and try again with something else. It's not that the chair is bad, it's mostly just not my cup of tea. Read more
