I got this chair because reviews indicated it is great for a short person. I am 5'1" and I barely touch the floor. And because I use a cushion on the chair for back issues, I am way too high off the floor for comfort. Otherwise the chair is comfy and supportive. Wasn't too difficult to put together, except for one screw/bolt hole under the seat which seems to be off-kilter so the screw didn't go all of the way in. Other than these 2 issues - height and a screw hole issue - I might give this 5 stars. Read more

To be clear, no one is going to mistake this for a $800 chair. BUT, it's a very good product at an unbeatable price. You'll notice a lot of little things as you unpack it, which speak to the careful design, construction and shipping. There is a warning on the box, not to use a knife to open it. There is a thick protective piece of cardboard under the top flap, in case you disregard the warning. The parts are carefully wrapped with plastic, with protective cardboard on any corners which could be damaged in shipping. Most products give you a simple Allen wrench - this one gives you a very nice wrench with a plastic handle. The hardware is well labeled and blister packed. There are extra bolts - packaged separately to avoid confusion - in case you lose something. The components are well finished and seem to be high quality. The assembly is straightforward and the instructions are clear. Parts where the orientation could be confused are marked with "front" arrows.
