Initially been using the Steelseries Arctis 9x for YEARS. Replacing them constantly.. they always break in the same place (internal screw on the ear cup comes lose inside and cup falls off headpiece) anyway, didn't want to spend 180 dollars on a new headset again, so went out on a limb after doing some reddit reviews. My experience: really comfy, took a little bit to get used to the smaller ear cups (compared to the steelseries) but the audio is such high quality and I love the fact you can connect to your phone for like music or YT as well as listening to game audio, mic is extremely sensitive and picks up every tiny noise including breathing so I have been using the mute function a LOT. My only gripe really. I also purchased the razer kitty ear attachment to go on this and it fits & looks so cute. I would extremely recommend this for anyone wanting high quality headphones for gaming but not wanting to spend a huge amount. I cannot attest to the duration yet though as I've only been using them for around 3 weeks. Read more

I've owned a lot of headsets over the past decade. Here's my initial review after using it for the past month. Like: 1. Easy setup 2. Quality surround sound. I'm using it with Dolby Atmos. 3. Nice Xbox app allows for appropriate level of customization. 4. Mic monitoring works really well. 5. You can remove the mic boom if you don't need it. 6. Very comfortable for hours of gaming. I have large ears and a larger head. Don't like: 1. You need to update the firmware via a computer. App only lets you know if your firmware is up to date. 2. Chat/Game balance wheel doesn't make a sound or click to let you know when it's balanced. You need to count the number of click turns and balance manually. Hopefully the build quality give me 3+ years of gaming but only time will tell. My last headset (Microsoft Wireless) mic plastic casing cracked and broke on its own. Definitely brittle cheap plastic was used as I take good care of my accessories. Read more

I bought this headset because I wanted to game with my fiancé . We wanted to be able to communicate when we played fortnite together. Overall, this is a great headset and the Bluetooth works great. The sound quailty is great, also in a group chat too. The battery is great and last 15 hours. But, there are some things I did not like. I am a female with I think an average size head, but the headphones are too big for my head. If I turned my head too quickly the headset with slid off head so I am constantly readjusting the headset on my head. I have the adjusters are on the lowest level. And the headset is still too big, and I like my headset snugged. SO, this headset is made for someone with a larger size head. Also, I do not like that the microphone part can not be cracked to the back of the headset and will shut off the mic. That's a feature other headset I have used in the past have had. Now I have to take the headset off or go in manually and shut off the mic I walk aways and use the bathroom. If you had a headset like that in the. past, then you know what I'm talking about. Read more

This headset is excellent! I've had this headset for about 2 years now, and it has not disappointed! The connection has been slightly spotty sometimes, but nothing so major that it would be rendered even remotely unusable and if anything has more to do with the Xbox I believe as many of these kinds of headsets have problems in that department. I will say, I had to purchase a new mic attachment for it (which costed a whopping $8.00) as the original did eventually go kaput, but $8 is minimal, and everything else about this headset already makes up for that issue in my opinion. The sound is very clear, and with EQ in the Razer app on Xbox, I can really fine tune it. that is coming by a trained and longtime audio engineer as well who appreciates good sounding speakers. I was going to give it 4 stars, but with how well they've held up, especially with pretty rough hands, I can't shout loud enough how much this is worth despite its small small drawbacks, which could of course be case-to-case which is most probable as I am not gentle with my headset. At the moment this headset is sub-$75.. this is a STEAL!! Read more

Well, the output works well enough. But after a couple years, I thought I'd try to talk to some people in game. Nope. The microphone won't register at all. I jumped through hoops on control panel and discord and still couldn't fix it....and I know PCs. I've went in circles on their website to get some help. There's NO one I can talk to. The only support is forums. I liked this brand but may be moving on. Roll the dice if you'd like. Read more

I originally just connected my Beats Solo 2 to the ps4/ps5 controller and was happy with that for a long time but wanted over the ear headphones that were more comfortable and offered better sound. So I bought the pulse…and it felt like a vice clamp on my head. My jaw hurt for days. The sound is meh. So I bought sennheiser wired headphones to try a high quality make with better comfort. The sound was empty and low. I finally tried these headphones after seeing them in a review. If you own a ps5 just please try them. They have an adjustable strap and swiveling ear cups instead of a head clamp design. It makes long hours playing really enjoyable. The sound is very good and the haptics are really cool and add an extra dimension that I cannot believe Sony has not designed yet. Very easy to connect. Very rarely cause interference with the dual sense. Just stop reading reviews and buy them. Trust me. Read more
