Seems to work as advertised. I love how at this price point you can control between 660/850/Both nm light wavelengths. Been using it daily now. Heavy base. Doesn't fall down. Stays where you set it. In March i had LASIK eye surgery. (Well PRK, just a different technique) I had miraculous results. But, im in Chicago and winter hit. Cold dry air came. My eyes felt a little dry the last month (a common complaint post LASIK-PRK) I was using eye drops at least once a day. Literally after the second day of red light on my face....I haven't used drops since and it's colder than any time this year. I have no explanation, but I guess if you look at research studies, I am not alone when I had improvement to my eyes. The red light is the ONLY thing I changed in my routine and it helped and definitely made a difference. I would buy this particular light again. I have been wanting to try red light therapy and see if it lives up to the hype. The YOHOTESION design looked like a great way to go as the description states it uses, from what I have read, are the most effective IRR and NIRR numbers, is multi-functional for various areas of the body and is easy to store when not in use. The device arrived with all the pieces securely packed in a smaller than expected box. There were easy to follow assembly instructions and it took less than 10 minutes from opening the box to being operational. The couple of assembly tips. I found it easier to assemble the two standing rods together before screwing both in the bottom weighted stand otherwise I kept getting the pieces a little off where you tighten them together. Also, it is not clear that the piece that holds the panel itself ( it looks like a cell phone holder) can be expanded on either side to hold the panel. Sounds confusing but will make sense once you go to assemble the stand and think to yourself, “no way those two pieces fit together”. Surprise, they do. In fact, everything fit together seamlessly even when I wouldn’t work. The stand is very sturdy and I like that the height can be adjusted. Also, it is easy to remove the panel from the stand and use it directly on the spot you are treating which for me is my hands and knees. I don’t know that you can put it directly on your face and nowhere does it say you can. In fact the instructions tell you to drape it 3-6” from your body which does run counter to pics of it being wrapped around legs, arms, etc. That part of the instructions needs to be clarified and I have emailed the company. Once they reply, I will edit this review with their response. The control device is easy to use and the company included cable clamps so that you can keep it close to the stand without having it look messy. Small point but it shows me that they really thought things through. Like the fact that I can roll up the panel and controller like a cloth heating pad and take it with me when I travel. I have a few flights coming up and this was a big selling feature for me. Takes almost no room in my carryon and will be ease to fit in a few sessions through the trip. Protective glasses are included in the package. Nice and appreciated touch. I overlooked that in the description so I ordered a pair that I can now return. Use the glasses and never look directly into the lamp without the glasses on. I’m a worry wort about my eyes so I even wore the glasses when I had this directed at my knees with a book between me and the lamp but still….. I have only been using the device a few days and already feel minor improvements in my joints. It is going to take time but I am hopeful that my early results will continue to improve over the next few months. Currently using it every other day so maybe in 3 months or so ? Disclaimer is probably needed because you know how things go. I ordered this for my personal use. I am not a doctor or medical professional. In fact, no medical training unless you count CPR when I was in Girl Scouts or getting scuba certified. I am a volunteer for different civic groups, a home gardener and a woman approaching middle age with sore hands and knees thanks to an overly active dog and a full life of doing.
