The light is set on felt, so it's difficult to clean. It's also slightly difficult to adjust and keep the light tightly secured and fixed in place. The whole thing is slightly wobbly. I actually broke the piece that holds the lights while trying to tighten it and get it fixed in place, but customer service was amazing and immediately replaced the piece free of charge. It functions well, though, and (it might be placebo) seems to help expedite healing after working out soreness. It truly helps with muscle pains and aches after a hard training session. Works well for my skin as well. I like how easy it is to set up and use. The controls are rudimentary, and the remote is easy to work. I’ve been doing other red light therapy so I bought this from my disabled husband. We got it laid in the evening. I set it up five seconds and put it on him for 30 minutes last night was the first night in 19 years that he slept through the night. Coincidence maybe but I don’t think so. A few months ago, a friend took me to a fancy place for body treatments. One of the things they had was a red lamp just like this one. This goes together fairley easy the instructions are a bit vague but looking at the pictures helps. It works well. The stand is adjustable and easy to change heights. I did not get warm under it so I don't think I have to be worried about over heating. It is LED so it is energy efficient. It even came with the sun glasses which really help a lot. I haven't used it yet, I will update. I was lucky enough to get same day delivery and it actually showed up about an hour before the 5 hour window for delivery even started. Assembly was self-explanatory, I didn't look at the directions or even look to see if it came with directions. The hardest part was figuring out where it plugged in at, I had to look at other reviewer's photos. A few people said the monitor is wobbly and I agree, I tightened the fastener as tight as I could and it still wobbles a little when I touch it. However, I plan on using it without touching it and it doesn't move on its own, so it shouldn't be a problem. It's very flexible, it has 2 areas that you can adjust for height and coverage. Speaking of coverage, it seems to cover a decent square footage. I've included a photo that shows its acreage and I think I'll be able to cover a lot of my body in one session. It's also very lightweight. You could easily move it from room to room, or pack it in the car for vacations. It comes with a pair of sunglasses which I found very sweet, I was planning on using a microwaveable heat pack for eye tension. And I'd like to add that the light is very red, I don't know why my camera makes it look magenta. Overall I'm pleased so far and cannot wait for the changes in muscle tension and skin complexion.
